It's a blues standard popularized by Albert King and covered by everyone, this is for me the best even though Santana's version is great too (from 1968 Live at the Fillmore)

This is my favorite of Jeff's live performances. Of course his guitar work is ridiculous, but his VOICE! I love the huskiness/rasp of his voice and the little cracks as well. He was SO special. We still miss you, Jeff, and you haven't been forgotten. RIP, sweet boy.

Ok, so let's start off with how YOU like Jeff's music. I can tell that you like ALL DIFFERENT kinds of music and it shows with your movements and your ability to feel the beat and the ARRANGEMENTS.
Most, people don't understand this but most just listen to music. Being a drummer, I can feel it, and I see all the changes and the flow as YOU DO.
You must play an instrument but I am like you in that I just love all kinds of music. I'm not just one genre of music.
I clicked on you, because I wasn't expecting that and yes I stereotyped you so I apologize for that.
    Love your analogy of it!!
He was massively underrated and should be HUGE in the Rock n Roll hall of fame

Hi Jamel, this is a cover of a tune by "The Velvet Bulldozer" Albert King (1923 - 1992) and fun fact: the line " There is nothing I can do, as you leave me here to cry" sped up is the "low" riff for my all time favourite tune "Layla" by EC. This tune is also covered by SRV and the one and only Gary Moore 🤩👊👍🎶🎸🎸🎸 All the very best Ray (England )

I believe this was a cover of an Albert King song; but the chord progression is well known from other tunes, like "Tin Pan Alley"-- Players often used the same progression and just wrote their words over it.... Like Patrick Swayze said to him in "Roadhouse"-- "...not bad for a blind boy".... Blessed Be, & Peace, BFAM--

Here's another genre for you to explore Jamel. In the late 70s, early 80s two-tone arose, which was a blend of ska, reggae, dub and punk. Please react the The English Beat and their song Too Nice To Talk To. Don't be fooled by the little guy who looks like he can't dance - he is the one laying down those groovy bass lines. This will leave you wanting more - so you should then try their song Mirror in the Bathroom. You cannot stay still to this music. Official videos for both are recommended.

@@StoyTheOld I saw him perform in Gainesville FL about maybe 4 times in the late 80's when he was still touring widely. Tinsley Ellis is hands-down the best small-venue performer that I have ever seen/heard. The way he uses the entire room as his stage (and sometimes plays while walking right out the door and down the street, not missing a note the whole time) is genius and spectacular showmanship.

Music is sounds. Sounds are vibrations. Good vibrations hit your soul on a cellular level. Some hit your soul on an evil level. IE the Travis Scott Astroworld concert. Many who went saw satanic entities flying about. Also felt the evil.
This is how the music industry manipulate people. 70s and 80s music was before that time of manipulation. This is why so many of today's generation are so angry all the time. They are manipulated by sounds and sights. Ever noticed how music back in the rock generation never had purple light shows at the concerts? Purple is sadistic. The music industry has set it up this way to manipulate. I really appreciate you reacting to my generations music. There is a huge difference!
432Hz is your DNAs healing music. Turn all your music into 432Hz to heal your DNA.
