Bartel's and Glendale Harley-Davidson were a big part of my 90's SoCal motoring experience. From Bartel's XL883 racing and bike building expertise and using their dyno to find which stock carburetor made the most horsepower, until we got our own dyno and Glendale's Love Ride. I'll be back. Thanks for sharing, Ride Free
Nothing like living in a beach town in San Diego county I was in imperial Beach had a two bedroom bungalow on the beach. You walked 10 steps off my back porch. You were standing at these big granite boulders climbed down over them and you were on the beach, we were about 300 yards from the pier, I paid $300 a month. My roommate paid 300 a month and we split the bills. Life was good.
Man . Super jealous , i ride my sporty in Northern England and its around freezing temperatures here (oct 25th). Long johns, three pairs of socks , 2tees , a flanel, a denim jacket, armoured bike jacket , 2 scarves and winter gloves . That's only to commute to work which is a 7 miles treacherous ride on icy roads (black ice is no joke). Maybe move to California ?
My only memory of Venice Bch I was on my midlife crisis pilgrimage and this super cra zy chick saw my blond butt length hair I was dressed in all white she decided I was an angle and I could not shake her so I told her to go to the ladies toilet before our trip she thought I was there to lead her on and she went … I ran as long as I could and melted into the crowd never saw her again
