nice trip , thx! i have bin there 20 years ago, then it was popular with native thai tourism, but it grow a lot i think, for me though a nice rememberence!. THX ,smart travveling, pick up with sxooter, luxury serves best humans! enjoy!!
Is there enough transportation options in Hua Hin for someone who won't have a car be able to live there year round? Can you compare it for walking around Jomtien?
I look at Jomtien as so much bigger in land wise compared to Hua Hin although probably populated with about the same permanent residence. Huan Hin transportation needs are very good. Everything you need including baht buses, motorbike taxi, Tuk Tuk's, Grab, Bolt & regular taxis. Getting around Hua Hin shouldn't be a concern.
I shot most of the nightlife videos early around 9pm. For the most part I try to avoid getting customer faces ect and try to just show what's available in the areas. The busiest areas were Soi 80 & 94.
"why the germans do it better" - because we’ve mastered the art of overthinking everything-efficiency, rules, even fun. No? I must say, Hua Hin has a very unique charm to it. It feels like the city has grown at a slower, more organic pace compared to some parts of Pattaya. I particularly love all the little restaurants and bars - it has a cosy, laid-back vibe, very personal. How is the water quality there, though? And if I were to take a scooter, how long would it take to get there from Pattaya? Greetings dear Tom - on the road again hahaha ruclips.net/video/dBN86y30Ufc/видео.html
The water quality in Hua Hin is the same all over Thailand and not to be trusted for consumption. The major hurdle of riding a motorcycle to Hua Hin is motorcycles are prohibited from operation on tollways. I think going around the tolls will increase your trip by doubles the time. 7-8 hours
@@MargaritasinParadise I remember hearing during my driving test that motorcycles aren’t allowed on toll roads, but I could hardly believe it. Somehow, I thought it only applied to very small bikes and not to something like a 300cc motorcycle, which is what I plan to buy. Here, motorcycles and cars reach speeds of up to 170 mph on our highways; 150 mph is absolutely common. Thanks for clarifying that for me once again. As for the question about water quality, I was unclear-I actually meant the seawater for swimming, dear Tom.
I would guess the sea water has the same quality as Pattaya. I think the sea-shelf extends further out in that area so depth maybe an issue depending on tidal conditions.
Looks like alot of fun over there. Thailand has so much to offer !!
Yeah, Thailand is a very interesting country to visit.
Your approach is EXACTLY what I want to watch, asking questions like "what is this place called?". Love it 💕.
Awesome! Thank you!
Great video thank you
You're welcome, glad you liked it!

Thanks, rental motorbikes are available but because of the easiness of bringing my own, it just works well for me.
Not busy after sunset in "high season". Is this very early 😊? +1 👍👍 (epic shot of the motorbike park of Market Village 😮)
This was very early, around 7pm when we were on Soi Bintabaht; still Hua Hin doesn't have the nightlife of most major tourist areas. Thanks
The next pattaya 😊😊😊
I've heard that for almost 20 years. I guess it's possible. 😜

Tom, did you ride your motorbike to Hua Hin?
No, I drove my Isuzu DMax pickup truck and stowed my motorbike in the back for the trip.
Bars Looks empty. What time did you video?
