Please what are you doing to get better
Thank you pastor for this message. Can we also have a series on how we can deal with bitterness and protect ourselves from further hurt from abusers? Sometimes forgiveness is not enough, clear boundaries must be set. This is most difficult to do when dealing with family members (like in the case of Absalom) or bosses (like in the case of Ahitophel). Most ppl take things into their hands when it feels no one can challenge the abuser or the matter is being swept under the carpet. So you hold it to heart trying to forgive but the chain of abuse continues.

I don't keep malice or anger..
I talk to u straight on ur face because i grew up being bullied by my classmates then in primary school but i break out of that chain like a beast 💪 and it turned me to a fearless human..
So some persons think that am not a good Christian because i speak unknown to them i hate keeping bitterness 😢 because it causes me heartache 💔 😢
I've been hurt beyond measure which has affected most of my relationships. Forgiveness is not as easy as it's been preached. I wish it's that easy.
This life is cruel and unfair especially to the innocent. Sometimes I tell myself that the dead are better than us somehow cuz they are free from the struggles and wickedness of life.
May God help us to be better humans
Nnem, i feel ur pain and hurt cos my heart is also filled with so much pain and heaviness due to cruelty of human but this message clearly opened my heart to a new beginning! We are not helping ourselves by keeping those that have hurt us in mind/head cos it’s going to do more harm and hinder loads of blessing ahead. Let God take control
My dear forgiveness is not easy by our own effort. Ask God to heal you. And speak forgiveness by faith until forgive. Remember forgiveness is not a feeling but by faith.❤
Lord, if there is anything in my life, i have left unaddressed, please let your MERCY speak
this message is definitely for me cause my whole life I've felt misunderstood and I'm mentally exhausted from staying with my family currently I'm contemplating suicide and I'm really craving revenge but I'm powerless 😔 this forgiveness is not easy when the heart is frustrated and seeking to be heard but i pray by the end of this message I'll think twice before I make the wrong choice.
