00:44 Noctis should have yelled "Fire in the Hole" to Prompto - Friendly Fire. At 1:00 friendly fire by Prompto killing you.
The 2 level 85 variants of this boss next to the Secret Dungeon are actually quite nice for EXP grinding. All you have to do is stay behind them and attack/evade their slow turn strike, and each one gives over 6k exp so 12k exp at the end of the fight WITHOUT any exp spells. Exp spells stack too, so I ended up getting 120k exp from one fight with them and that was without maximum stacking potential.
its a good idea to warp behind this boss when he start to inhale, it saves you on restoratives
You should have just stood on a rock, used Blizzaga. The Maldodoom and brats would have been frozen in the water. easy targets
Grizzly Adams what he should've done was level up some more. why do people keep fighting the bosses underleveled?

This boss was always easy to mess up but easy to beat too. Easy to mess up because if you accidentally go in front when he’s inhaling you’ll prob drop to danger instantly.
Honestly this one is worse in the inner dungeon that has it inside.
Why did you keep fighting it from the front like that? should keep to it's back and regroup your other members.
agreed, its common practice when fighting those. also warp onto the rock and cast blizaga. it leaves the boss open for like 15-20 seconds but you freeze your buddies as well

I was bout to say the same thing. did that three times then used armiger on the 4th time. then you can pretty much whale/wale on the brats without much care
This is a 4 year late response lol but my guess is because the owner of this channel is trying to showcase the full lethality of the boss. If the YTer approached every boss with optimal setups, strategies, and dodges then new people interested in seeing the combat but new to the game will never see the full danger presented before them.

where is malbodoom hunt Mission and what hunt rank do you have to be?

Are the Legendary Weapons all really powerful? I just got the Iron Duke, but the only reason I won was cuz I got a Leviathan summon by pure chance.
i think the missions for the weapons are fun and a must for the completionist. but i feel the best one is the daggers from the lvl 120 boss (mission 5).
other than that though, they arent needed to get all achievements/trophies. but will likely help out loads when the dlc is released. i really want to finish the ezma quest line, the last boss has a no items rule. i love a challenge
matt casarez I happened upon Jabberwocky by accident, tho I haven't reached him yet. I'm stuck on the first cube puzzle :P I went in for the emerald ore but decided to continue the dungeon just to see what kinda reward it would have.
Is Naglfar really as tough as he looks? I know he's this game's equivalent of Omega Weapon, but it seems you can beat him with enough curatives and patience.
im going to fight it later tonight after farming gil and buying enough phoenix down. i guess it is possible to kill it in 5 min if you have the right gear/spells. farm zu for beaks to make limit break magic
matt casarez what do you get for beating Jabberwocky? Other than the two swords. I found that note in the Fellwoods tomb, so I'm assuming there's at least 2 kingsweapons down there.

newgame + is a joke too , in bloodborne enemies got stronger, but it didnt feel like its the same for final fantasy 15 ng+
It may be easy for you, but not for me. I struggled on a WYVERN.

FF XV looks too difficult... I've watched some of the boss fights and looks like you can't win without dying...
Nawww, the game is pretty easy and this boss is probably extremly Easy you just have to stay behind him and attack + ignoring the small ones.
Database just made this Boss harder for himself.
Only Naglfar is the real difficult Boss in this Game

the game isnt difficult. its actually very forgiving. especially when you get pheonix down noct and resume the fight like nothing happened.
This is like the easiest ff ever. All you need is stock of recovery items and you will never die
