The year is 1907. It is 10 years after his disappearance from the Paris Opera House and the Phantom has escaped to a new life in New York where he lives amongst the screaming joy rides and freak-shows of Coney Island. In this new electrically-charged world, he has finally found a place for his music to soar. All that is missing is his love - Christine Daaé. Now one of the world’s finest sopranos, Christine is struggling in an ailing marriage to Raoul. So, it is with excitement she accepts an invitation to travel to New York and perform at a renowned opera house. This production looks absolutely amazing. I am so excited by what they did with the show.

I saw this in Melbourne a couple of days ago. It was AMAZING. My mind was blown.

so this is in Australia? oh i thought it was in Melbourne FLORIDA i was all like "WAT?? HOW DID I NOT KNOW OF THIS???" lol i want to see it sooo badly :D i loved the 1st phantom and just cant wait great job to the cast tho i've heard the songs they are AWESOME :D and of course 2 andrew idk how he makes such beautiful music it gives me goosebumps every time lol (but the good kind) ^_^
@TheGreenified He didn't say he didn't like it, he said he wasn't as happy with it as he could be, meaning it was good, he liked it, but melbourne did it as he envisioned it.
Is the London production going to have all the Melbourne changes?
wish lloyd webber would make up his mind, he originally said he thought the london production was perfect!!! he does more u turns than a member of parliment!! or doesn't he have the balls to admit when an original show of his isn't working??!!! personally i have never cared for this show, but seen so many of his shows close coz he couldn't make up his mind, the woman in white now that was good!!!
