    My preschool had that first alarm and I always cried because it sounded so scary.

    Cool video. I enjoyed that first alarm. It sounded like a saxaphone. Nothing is as calming during a fire emergency quite like smooth jazz.

    Hey! Strobe-skipping-ing-ing-ing-ing-ing-ing! 😄
    Oh yeah, and the 7002T is really loud 😉. Eek, that's interesting that the alarm is NOT on FWR. Hmm

      I thought the wheelock AS is the loudest.

    • @fireandalarm1234
      @fireandalarm1234 6 лет назад +1

      +Fire Alarm If it were set on high volume, then probably more so. Either way, they're both really loud 😁

    • @Rodj12341
      @Rodj12341 6 лет назад

      I think it is on FWR though, I looked up the panel he has and it shows that it outputs FWR.

    • @fireandalarm1234
      @fireandalarm1234 6 лет назад

      +Rodj I agree. I think the Simplex alarm (4903-9217) was the one that was SUPPOSED to have the filtered-DC (produced by the little do-hicky) 😉
      I'm not a fan of FWR, but it's okay for some alarms. DEFINITELY not Simplex though

    That old raspy 7002T sounds like it's making a 2001-style March Time pattern.

    Very nice system was there a cat sleeping in video?

    • @TheFirePanel
      @TheFirePanel  3 года назад +1

      Yeah, my cat was nearly deaf at the time the video was recorded, however she never cared about the sound of the alarms. Unfortunately she passed away earlier this year.

    7002t-24 was my first alarm, i got like 7 of them ^^

    • @TexasRailfan2008
      @TexasRailfan2008 4 года назад

      Storm Flare i finally got one but it’s a 7002t-12 so I can’t use it on my panel, if it was a 7002t-24 I would just use a filter capacitor.

    Why are 7002ts great alarms? Because they always *skip* to the good part
    (Cringehhh)

    Hey, that 7002t sound CREEPY!!! I get nervous when I hear it; I like them though; anyway nice video!!! Btw, my condominium is FULL of 7002ts. In my apartment building, the WHOLE ENTIRE building has 7002ts. No kidding. There is a building I passed many times that has a 7002t that is white with a blue strobe; what kind is it and how does it sound?
    I like your videos!!! Have a great day!!! Kindness matters!!! :) :) :) :)
    Be safe!!! Taináh Vargas, age 14

    The 7002-T was on random skip, not continuous.

    • @nicholaswoolsey7239
      @nicholaswoolsey7239 4 года назад +1

      i think the reason why is because with the 7002T sounds like that is because on continuous when the strobe flashes like that thats when the horn does that skipping
