I tried my best with the Elvhen translation between Solas and Elgar'nan. They mainly come from the Dragon Age wiki but a lot of the translations have never been officially released, so some of it is my interpretation of what they said.
Bellara and Cyrian are a really good allegory - I’m not sure how intentional it is - for how it feels to lose a family to extremist ideology, and it leaves me feeling sick to my stomach (positively) in a way only good fiction can. It’s screamingly obvious to Bellara and the player that Anaris is only out for himself, but Cyrian has been (literally!) living in a different world, being fed carefully selected information by Anaris. It’s so hard breaking someone out of that. And like. There’s a mind-influencing head accessory involved. Just throwin’ that out there lol.
And now we meet the big guy himself. And about the archdemons, the evanuris used them to speak to the magisters in their dreams, using their names and their bodies to give voice, hence why tevinter worshipped them as their old god names. I am pretty sure they also used the archdemons to house their souls, as they were invincible until slain by a warden, then they lost their immortality or were killed entirely due to the wardens soul clashing with theirs.
Because I saved Minrathus (as a Shadow Dragon) from the dragon atrack, in my playthrough, this quest was the last time the Venatori were a major threat in the game for me. Elgar'nan would still use them in the final assault sure but they were few and far between, nonexistent in Dock Town, from what I recall. Mostly Elgar' Nan would attack with Antaam and their hired mercenaries, which they were forced to use since both their and the Venatori's numbers had dwindled. Also the Venatori talk like that because they're literally orgasming at the thought of enslaving and using blood magic on people

46:37 I understood that reference (Galdalf vs Saruman from Lords of the Ring). As the game progresses, I like Bellara better, she looks much more adult than when the game starts. Elgar'nan is too hot, it's a shame there isn't a romance option and making him see reason. (As the Emperor from BG3)
I binged the vids... Now that Im caught up, Im temporarily at a loss. 🤣🤣.... Nows the time for me to play my own game I guess. It just wont be this one... Yet. (I gotta get a supporting console for it)

My favorite part was:
Solas: "you killed her"
Elgar'nan: "Only the first time" which means it's Solas who killed Mythal the second time lmao
The tea though 😂

Everyone that thirst over Nere in BG3 must've been over the moon when hearing Elgar'nan
He's a good voice actor!
The thirsting over Elgar'nan is too real 😂 loving that I'm not the only one who sees him on screen and is like 👀
He's hot! Like legit, good character design lol
They really love Elgar’nan so much
He's hot! 😂
@@AGirlAndAGame lol indeed 🤣

It makes a lot of sense. Crazy how this came full circle with the lore
@AGirlAndAGame yeah, I mean it was there but now it's all coming together. Messily yes, but it's coming together

Yeah I get what you mean! She seems more mature as the game goes on.
Jessica is really kicking ass with games most of the time 😂
