    Oh My Word... I'm memorized and YES the tears are falling. I'm just amazed at the ability GOD gives some people.
    I wish I could have made one of these. I would use it in my sugar bin.
    I'm disabled and in a wheelchair.
    I don't get out of the house except go to the Dr's or hospital.
    When I watch your tutorials it makes me so happy but I always cry because of the pure beauty in the wood and masterful craft and the skill you have 😊❤

    Fantastic job and I'm in awe at your control with the skew. I've watched all the tips and tricks from everyone on using the skew and I rough down and do long smooth transitions fine but every time I attempt a bead or anything similar like you do at 8:54 I get a catch without fail, never once does the unsupported edge come into contact, somehow the lower side just bites. I had actually convinced myself this was specifically because I was catching the lower corner as opposed to keeping the cut slightly higher, but watching you finish the end of that handle at 8:54 using pretty much only the corner I'm back to just not knowing.

    • @tomislavtomasicwoodturning
      @tomislavtomasicwoodturning  Месяц назад +1

      You always have to have bevel contact, without that catch will always happen, skew is one of the stubborn tools to learn, it takes time and practice and still you can have a catch if not concentrate, I still have catches. Not as nearly aa when I started but it still happens and its normal in my opinion 😀

    Hate to see you reach round that rotating handle to control the lathe. Doesn’t the control box move so you could put it on the other end of the lathe whilst hollowing? I just worry it may just be a matter of time before your fingers get caught when it might so easily be avoided. Great video otherwise.

    • @tomislavtomasicwoodturning
      @tomislavtomasicwoodturning  2 месяца назад +2

      It may seem like that but it wasn't even close, its big lathe and there is a lot space from end of the handle to the path of the switch box,but its a good point and it can very dangerous and thank you for pointing that out.

    ¡¡¡Preciosas!!! Ya hice un par de paletas para cocinar y mi esposa está encantada. Este será un próximo proyecto cuando llegue mi nuevo torno que va a sustituir al antiguo y muy trabajado torno de taller que conseguí hace un año por muy poco dinero 😅 y que tiene muchas carencias y muchas deficiencias, aunque me ha servido para iniciarme en esta increíble actividad con la ayuda de cientos de vídeos de muchos torneros que muestran su trabajo en RUclips y he de decir, para ser justos, que no siendo el primero que encontré, si te has convertido en mi tornero referente. Muchas, muchas muchas gracias por tantas y tan buenas enseñanzas.
    Un fuerte abrazo desde Granada, España
    Prekrasno!!! Već sam napravio par kuharskih lopatica i moja žena je oduševljena. Ovo će biti sljedeći projekt kada dobijem novi tokarski stroj koji će zamijeniti stari radnički tokarski stroj koji sam dobio prije godinu dana za vrlo male novce 😅 i ima mnogo mana i mnogo kvarova, iako mi je pomoglo u tome što sam započeo u ovim nevjerojatnim aktivnosti sa stotinama videozapisa mnogih tokara koji prikazuju svoj rad na RUclipsu i da budem iskren, nisi prvi kojeg sam pronašao, ali postao si moj referentni tokar. Puno, puno puno hvala za tako dobra učenja.
    Veliki zagrljaj iz Granade, Španjolska.
