Pencil skirts are somewhat becoming a thing of the past with the prevalence of remote work, but a girl just wants to kill in an immaculate pencil skirt. If you've never found a flattering one for you and you have hip dips, saddlebags, shorter legs, whatever... Excellent video, thank you! I have the same shape as you and although I love pencil skirts on others, I just thought I couldn’t wear them. My hip dip/saddle bag combo has always bothered me but I couldn’t identify the real issue. Which is like you said, it gives the illusion of really low hips and short legs. I’m kind of mind-blown right now actually. You did a great job of explaining it all.

ohh i didn't realise those low hip bones were called saddle bags! i always thought it was just another word for muffin tops! thanks for this! Now i know what to google to fit my pants better!

For pants, high rise wide legs are the best -- either tapered or not tapered. If you have a small upper body, those menswear inspired front pleat pants also look great. Otherwise, paperbag waists can look better on shorter torsos.

I've been very self conscious abt my hip dips but weirdly enough seeing you in the dark blue tight skirt made me realize that hip dips look really pretty in tight silhouettes :)
