Kiran Prabha Gaaru, another excellent episode. MSV was a very humble man, in every one of his public speeches, appearances and interviews, he would always praise others and try to downplay his genius. He gave us some memorable melodies that still reverberate in our ears. He was an excellent comedic actor, best example of it would be "Kadhalaa Kadhalaa" with Kamal Hassan, unfortunately due to his busy schedule, he didn't explore his acting talents enough. He also had a unique way of singing that wasn't suited to many songs but some memorable ones are "Sambo siva sambo" and "Sollathan Ninaikkiren" etc. They say he had amazing work ethic and when speaking about him SP Balu recounted this memory and that says it all "One day MSV sir called me and said he went to AR Rahman's studio to sing a song, and he was nervous because he is not sure how AR Rahman would receive the output, but said that AR Rahman was so generous with his praise and gave him a large compensation for that song. He further said receiving praise from AR Rahman was a great achievement". RIP Mellisai Mannan.
Request you to provide information about ilayaraja’s devotion towards MSV. SPB mentioned it in some interviews and we have seen his excitement when he attended MSV’s felicitation by SPB. How much attachment he has with Ilayaraja and his family.

M.S. అంటేMusic Samrat__ సంగీత సార్వ భౌమ . ఈ బిరుదులు / ఉపమానాలు ఆయన ఘన ప్రతిభ కు నిదర్శనాలు. తమిళ చిత్ర రంగం నుండి తెలుగు చిత్ర రంగం లోకి ప్రవేశించి ' పాత తెలుగు తరం పాటలకు ఆయన కూర్చిన బాణీలు సంగీత ప్రియుల మనసుల్లో కోకిల రాగాలు నేను దాదాపు నాలుగు న్నర దశాబ్దాల నుండి ఈ దిగ్గజ సంగీత దర్శకుని పాటలు అలనాడు రేడియో లు , గ్రాం ఫోన్ రికార్డులు, టేప్ రికార్డుల నుండి నిన్నటి మెమరీ కార్డులు, నేటి యూ ట్యూబ్ లద్వారా వింటూ వస్తున్నాను. తొలి నాళ్ళలో కలిగిన అనుభూతికి నేటి అనుభూతి కి తేడా ఏమీ లేదు. ఆ అనుభూతి మరింత ఎక్కువ అవుతున్న దేకానీ తరగడం లేదు. ఆయన కూర్చిన మధురాతిమధురమైన బాణీలపాటలు జీవితాంతం గుర్తుంచుకోదగినవి. కొన్ని . 1) అందాల ఓ చిలకా అందు కోనాలేఖ 2) పిల్లలు దేవుడు చల్లని వారే కల్లకపటమెరుగని కరుణా మయు లే 3) నీవే నీవే నిన్నే నిన్నే నీవే నివే కావలసినది నిన్నే నిన్నే నేవలచినది. 4) వినుము చెలీ తెలిపెదను పరమ రహస్యం అది మరి ఎవరూ తెలియరాని మధుర రహస్యం 5) చందన చర్చిత నీలకళేబర పీతవసన వనమాలీ ! 6) నన్ను ఎవరో తాకిరి కన్ను ఎవరో కలిపిరీ చూపు లోనే ఆపలేని మత్తు మందు చల్లిరి 7) రేపంటి రూపం కంటి పూవంటి దొరనే కంటి నీ కంటి చూపుల వెంటా నా పరుగంటి ! ఇలా ఉదహరిస్తు పోతే కొండవీటి చాంతాడంత లిస్టు తయారు అవుతుంది. తొలినాళ్ళలో రామ్మూర్తి గారితో కలిసి పనిచేసినా, విడిపోయిన తర్వాత పనిచేసి నా ఆయన సంగీతం అదేస్థాయిలోనే వుండినది కానీ ఏ లోటు కనపడ లేదు.కనుక పాత తరం లోని దిగ్గజ సంగీత దర్శక రత్నాలలో సంగీత సామ్రాట్M.S. విశ్వనాధన్ గారు కూడా ఒకరు . ఈ గొప్ప సంగీత దర్శక యోధుని పాద పద్మములకు ' నా అనంత కోటి శిరసాభి వందనాలు🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 A. మల్లికార్జున/బెంగళూరు/20-02-2022.
