Here in NC a local gym bought billboard coverage on route 52 south in King. It has a visage of Trump, similar to his mug shot, with the message: In reality, they’re not after me, they’re after you. Wake up America, and donate to Donald Trump. Each billboard could list Dems accomplishments, not only in this administration, but throughout our history, one or two accomplishment per billboard, for our fellow citizens with limited cognitive abilities😁

Who would change their vote based on what someone tells them in a comments section? I mean, yes, I agree. But the people who need to be reached aren't here.
This isn't a sleight against you personally. I mean, obviously, I agree. I'm just really concerned that these platforms occupy our attention and make us feel like we are engaged when we actually are just tapping and clicking.
Have you ever wondered why RUclips doesn't have a messaging function? It used to. They removed it. See, they have no use for anything that takes people away from clicking on videos.
We all want better democratic representation, right? Well, I find it peculiar that none of these channels ever plug a forum or something where people can go to talk about all this stuff. It's all just monetized. You can subscribe and get like extra emojis in chat or whatever.
Most people are so busy trying to survive that there isn't enough time to go to meetups or whatever--if they even exist, I really have no idea.
But I do know that with the amount of money all of these creators are making, they could afford to at least PLUG a forum where people could connect to like -minded people--let alone, heaven forbid, run one. Yes, I know there are plenty of other platforms, but then they should run groups on those platforms. They could plug discussion groups on those platforms, at least. But it just doesn't seem to be a priority?
I mean, if they truly believe that there is an existential danger to this country, one would think they would use these platforms to plug organizations etc. Every video to get people more involved. But that isn't the focus. It's all monetized.
I'm not saying they don't care at all, just that this platform keeps us all in a bubble, clicking furiously in whatever spare time we have for it. It's an energy sink. It makes us feel like we are actively engaged in something here, but we aren't.
And yet I still keep posting. It's really messed up.

Biden is the winner out of the two choices we have. If only he had used the correct word at the state of the union, I think he meant to say, I enjoy controversy but he said I enjoy conversion, it would have made a great sound bite. So, they both make mistakes. But one is well-intended and qualified, the other is self-serving and disqualified.

I like when Trump has said that Joe Biden is too old to be president. I would like to be there to ask him if he is pulling out of the race since he is too old to be president. Joe Biden is twenty years older than I am but he is in better shape. With the closeness of their ages and Trump's lifestyle, I believe Biden's in better shape physically and mentally than Trump.

This is why lawmaker accountability has to have lawful teeth and immediate serious consequences should be in place to make them liable for any and all damages resulting from their actions. If the republicans are hell bent on creating financial chaos via a shut down, then there should be clearly delineated, non-negotiable financial punitive consequences for the damages they cause, including criminal charges, mandatory prison sentences, immediate permanent loss of their positions in political office and being forever banned from ever again holding any political position at any level of federal, state, city, county or regional government.

I've been thinking about Henry Louis (H. L.) Mencken. He was a major political and literary critic, philologist. and newspaper editor throughout the first half of the 20th Century. In 1948, he had a massive stroke and became entirely aphasic. He was unable to process language and never spoke, read, or wrote another word until his death a few years later. It was the cruelest fate imaginable for a person of letters.
