A working TV is possible to build in minecraft. Yeah, it does get pretty huge to the size that it looks like a cinema, and causes lag, but IT'S A WORKING TV WHO CARES!! MumboJumbo did a video on one by the way, so if you want to know how to make one, I highly suggest you watch his video.
