The toilet trick doesnt work anymore:( im on bedrock and I remember doing this last year and it worked absolutely fine, really annoying it doesnt now
Total noob here, but I skipped the wood under the piston step and went straight for the quartz stairs under the piston and it works

For bedrock players struggling on the toilet (lol), put a floor block under the armour stand to start, push the steps down first, then use another piston under the floor block to push it up.

The iron trap door (shower) opens if i click on the button
same, its probably because of Minecraft's updates
I found out how to fix it, you don't put the redstone on top of the dispenser, you put it the block before the observer.

why when im doing the toilet one, the armour stand noclips into the blocks in the floor im using nintendo switch

If you push the steps down first then push the floor UP into the bottom of the stand with a different piston it will work
