The most interesting thing about your channel that I find is that when I watch other content creators that are extremely good at Dead by Daylight, I watch their gameplay and attempt to replicate it and get absolutely demolished, thinking that just because I watched their video that I was going to suddenly be on the same level as those 10000 hour players. However, something that I've noticed with ONLY your content is that I can watch one of your looping guides, boot up my game, and see INSTANT results the VERY first time I reach the loop you mention in the video. I think it's due to the foresight factor that your videos provide, the fact that you tell us how to loop a tile and give a roadmap on the routes to take, so when I see it in my own gameplay my brain INSTANTLY tells me "Hey, its that tile from Tator's video! I know how to loop that now, let's try it!" and it just WORKS! All in all, thanks for these guides, the value from them is insane, and I hope you keep doing them for the foreseeable DBD future!
This is one of the kindest comments I've read! I read this to my roommate with emphasis on what was capitalized and everything! Am beyond glad these are really helping like that! Truly believe that looping can be explained and learned as simply as just running the right direction and having the right places to stop most of the time! Could have so many more people playing and getting into dbd if having a good time in most scenarios wasn't seemingly locked behind a mandatory thousands of hours of playtime, when it's really not that complex! All it really comes down to most times is winning or losing 50/50s, and when you know the maps you can play as safe as you want and running into 1 50/50 every 30 seconds at a main building, or running to an unsafe tile for fun where you can win 10 different 50/50s and the chase only last like 6 seconds 😂 Anyways, Thank you so much the incredibly kind words mate! I plan on having a full map guide for every map and a bunch of these interesting tiles in single tip vids like this one as well! It's always a bummer not having a map guide done for someone that hates a particular map, but am working on that and eventually that will never be the case!
@@Mr_TatorHead I asked in one of your YT streams but im guessing you read twitch chat but if you have the time, a Toba Landing video would help greatly. Its one of those maps I grimace at when I load in.
Have an example of that being super relevant later against a clown! Wanted to use it as an example early on but saved it for the part of the tile the clip took place on!
It's so much fun winning a 50/50 especially when you're trying something new! It's like IT ACTUALLY WORKS 😂 And no problem mate! Glad the obnoxiousness of the clips isn't too distracting! Got TONS more of these on the way!
It’s so awesome to see someone break down really specific loops like this so far into this game’s lifespan, I always watch these videos as soon as I can and recommend them to my friends. Your reactions are priceless too, keep up the good work bro
It's cool that they are still coming out with fresh tiles like this after all this time! This one was added when they reworked Borgo! And thanks mate that is SUPER helpful and I appreciate it! Also glad the obnoxiousness of the clips doesn't distract too much! Pretty relieved to hear when it doesn't since not trying to be in "study" mode while actually playing! and will do mate! Got TONS more where this came from!
I'm yet to see/hear anyone else who does guides like this where they articulate the tiny little minutiae of each movement, with copious examples to back it up. The goofy turnaround and the tight/loose pathing (off the drop) concepts were crazy. I realised today - after way too many hours lol - that hugging a wall against Huntress can be bad for the same reason (hitboxes) it can be against Demo, but I'd have never thought to use that to intentionally break up tiles into multi-sectioned pieces like you illustrated at 12:50. I hope you keep doing these, each one reignites my love for the game and desire to keep improving. Also, I finally learned why this tile kills me as killer lol. Twice I've run into someone who gets how the momentum works and twice I've swung waayy too many times at the 2nd pallet with nothing to show for it. Even the killer tips are golden, it's crazy!
Thank you so much for the incredibly kind words mate I appreciate ya! and hell yeah killers with an m2 they have to commit to are like the most fun killers to play against for that reason! There just seems to be many more plays possible against them but it doesn't feel unbalanced because all of the other times you make the play you want to against them, but they just outplayed it outright! And that pallet is like cursed for killer! SO many times I feel like i should have 100% been hit and they whiffed slightly above me! It's crazy!
These vids are so good man The examples vs killers that aren't just m1 are sick. The focus on all maps on this channel is so cool too. If you play 1v1 ladder you learn basics, classic maze tiles, and autohaven/mac fillers and like suffo main building but not much about tons of other maps that you get in pubs. Gonna try this next time I get shattered square bc it looks super fun. After watching this and the dead dawg main video I'm gonna keep an eye out for new vids bc I have 2k hours but still sooooooo much room for improvement on survivor. Even the "big turnaround" is something I've never heard articulated or thought about myself before
Thanks for the kind words mate! And thats exactly it! There are 8 million videos of checkpoints on common tiles, but literally nothing on all of the other maps! Kinda wish I had all these maps done now tbh! Could make any of the map guides it just takes time to edit them down! But I really wish I had the answer for "I hate this map what is there even to run on this map!" and right now I only have published answers for about half of the maps! And hell yeah! The big goofy turnaround is something to always work on avoiding! The amount of times the pathing was good throughout, just to give up one big goofy turnaround and get hit 😂 And hell yeah! Right now during summer am trying to put a new vid out at 10 am Saturdays! Trying to get used to that rhythm while editing the longer guides and do them both hand in hand! Will have more editing time once the summer is over though!
brother i have 1500 hours which isnt anything crazy but the amount u have shown me with these guides is insane helping me to min max my loops for real! cheers ! (esp the dead dawg loop i had no idea to loop it that way!)
Ayyy Im glad these are helping! Looping is very simple and hilarious but just takes way too long to learn by trial and error! Luckily its one of the only games out there (that's not turn based) where just game/map knowledge can be the difference in almost any match! Don't have to hit a precise headshot or anything!
Was it KillaWhale's video or Otzdarva's shoutout! I pretty much just assume everyone I know either came from one or the other! Those were some SERIOUSLY kind things to do!
Ayyy that's sick! I pretty much just assumed everyone I ever meet either came from Otzdarva's shoutout, or KillaWhale's video! Wish I had something for ya on every map but I will one day! Working on Ormond right now!
Mr tater head, I want you to know that I've been trying to learn how to run this structure after being inspired by your videos and after a month I find out that you had the same idea. Nutter
Ayyy thats awesome! Then of course in the most dbd fashion ever, when you go to practice it the pallet won't ever be there 😂 The good thing is when you don't get the Market tile, you get the Gallows tile which is a GREAT 1v1 tile!!
I’ve found your videos I have just started playing DBD about a month ago…been literally juicing since week 2 your videos helped me so much. Every map is a juice fest for me now I love it.😂
This sounds PERFECT! Haven't met too many people that have just started and seeing these! Been saying the main goal of these is to shorten the expected "4k hours to loop at comp level" to a small fraction! This stuff really isn't complicated, it's just that most of this isn't really public knowledge! But I swear anyone with like 500 hours (and less really!) should be able to do anything I can ever do in this game! At least on Survivor! So meeting people like you, and hearing how much it's helped is beyond reassuring that these are the right guides to make! Thank you so much for the kind words mate! Got TONS more of these on the way!
I just wanted to say that I've always had trouble on the grim pantry type maps (1k hours ~ ). Your recent video on that weird four lane was so digestible on the first watch that I was recently able to run a killer there for 1.5 minutes (I clipped it) all by remembering how you explained it. Even without getting the perfect running vaults I was able to make it work. I've been recommending your videos to my friends since I just recently found you. What a great job you're doing! love x
This is AMAZING!!!! I've still only got the bad docks the one time since seeing it this way and that was the example used in the video! been REALLY wanting to run it more but keep getting only the strong docks now! and its like where were the strong docks the whole time that I had no idea how to loop the bad docks! All I got was the bad docks then 😂 I am BEYOND happy to hear how fast these have helped you! That's the coolest thing about survivor is how you can see some one do something, or someone can show you something and it immediately works! It's not like an fps where if you can't hit the headshot it doesn't matter, it's literally about making the right plays or at least plays that work! Thank you for the incredibly kind words mate! Got TONS more of these on the way!
Literally since this comment 3 hrs ago I watched the yamaoka pyramid main guide. And after a single watch I ran a clown on it using the pallet (greed) that leads to the stairs!! Also for 1.5 minutes !! You’re so good at this !! I love you LMAOOO
I found this video on my recommended section and didn't expect it to be so entertaining and especially helpful! I will try all your tips although I play with 150ms lol so that tip about facing the loop has given me a new light (I'm not even a new player, been playing for 5 years now so you're helping experienced players too) bc I need to hug the tiles as much as possible to compensate my lag problem. New subscriber here!
Ayyy this is pretty cool! I kinda just assume everyone I have met have either came from Otzdarva's shoutout of KillaWhales! Most of the vids I make are super long so I never expect them to make it into the algorithm! 😂 that tip alone for tight looping is what keeps me playing on controller for survivors (but mouse and keys for killer), its just too much of an advantage being able to have smaller, more specific movements with a joystick as opposed to the 8 directions afforded to WASD! Also that is some lag! You must live kinda far from the servers which is rough :( You might be able to change what servers you are on though and see if that helps!
@@Mr_TatorHead yess! Some of your videos have been recommended to me these last weeks like the one on Dead Dawg for killers in which the thumbnail says "never open this door", how you have +100 million bp and, of course, this one so I finally clicked on your video and watched it until the end and don't regret it a single bit; actually I'll be watching all your videos from now on while I'm having lunch or while I'm waiting for a match ☺️ keep up with the amazing work! I've watched a lot of guide videos to help my looping but, as I am a player with years of experience, I couldn't find them that helpful to me bc I already know most of the tips they give but, your video, sir, omg the videos I've watched from you, everything you said has been very helpful to me lol the total opposite!
I was afraid the benny hill was gonna get cut out but the timing is perfect! It's short enough to not get picked up by copyright! I was SO HAPPY to see that! And thanks mate I appreciate it! Got TONS more where this came from!
This is GREAT to hear! Looping is hilarious and ANYONE can do anything I ever do! Shouldn't take all these thousands of hours to figure out which circles to run in and where to stop neither! And when it doesn't, we could always have new player join/get friends into playing with us!
Only vid where I can immediately improve. the scooby doo hallway and dead dog saloon main bldg are ones I could instantly do after watching your vids. I WANT MORE
That's the best part about dbd survivor! Been challenging people to go through any of my vids looking for anything that would be like "dang I wouldn't be able to do that!" because there isn't! Wish I had something for every map because I could make something for every map but sadly can only go one video at a time! Will have them all eventually though! Got TONS more on the way!
The amount of times that big goofy turnaround causes the killer to get a hit is INSANELY frustrating! Especially because it is a skill issue! It's like DAMN ME AGAIN 😂 Also thanks for the kind words mate! Have TONS more on the way!
Thank you for this, your other videos have actually saved me to the point that the killer gives up on me. Other times, I ran the killer long enough for two gen pops. The only problem is that I need more videos like this for other maps lol
This is GREAT to hear! If you can run the killer for 2 gens you can run them for 5! All it takes is the other survivors to do the gens! But if they are sitting on 3 different gens, the time it takes 1 gen to pop is 3, and same for the next two with the next pop! Wish I had something for you on every map! Will one day and working towards that goal!
I'm RARELY, RAAAAAAAAARELY let a comment but you're like the only streamer I really like (with Geo), you're so funny and I just love the way you are, just enjoying the game, and you always give good advices. Thank you
Thank you so much for the incredibly kind words mate! It is a relief to hear the obnoxiousness of the clips doesn't get in the way of the learning! I try not to be in study mode while playing but because of that the walkthroughs to the examples is a MASSIVE change of pace I fear can be distracting! And no problem mate! Wish I had something for every map but will one day!
It's so much fun! And anyone can do anything I ever do and they can have so might as well show peeps in case they don't know so they don't have to make all the same mistakes first!
My survivor game has improved like a thousand times especially after the Mac millan estate main loop vid and after loading into the map, I looped the killer indefinitely
Im a killer main and play surv with my friends occasionally, but I stink at it! The juicing guides are so good, I loved the dead dog saloon one! I would love a non map specific one though, going over generic tiles! Things like TL walls and shack and stuff would be super awesome ^w^ Thanks for all your help and sharing your knowledge! Its so funny to watch, but also so informative. They oughtta hire you to make a survivor tutorial lol
Survivors is super easy once you know what circles to run in and where to stop! Thats like 80% of looping! I do have Wreckers Yard guide done and that is all common tiles! The main building of that map is shack! So that map guide is just a break down of common tiles plus the rng you can get on that map! Here is that guide! - ruclips.net/video/IaTp_ynudZY/видео.html And no problem! It's like the only game where you can tell someone "go this then go that way" and it actually really immediately works in game! Never played another game like it!
@Mr_TatorHead ah sick! I'll check out wreckers now! It's so satisfying to learn survivor, because unlike an FPS game where mechanics take hundreds of hours, learning the correct mentality for loops has an immediate payoff. But it's not like solving a puzzle where it's the same solution every time! It's reactive, it's so sick. Thanks again!
First match i tried to use the pre-drop orientation of the Market, the Nemo saw right thru it and broke the pallet instantly. After the match they said "you watched the tatorhead video, didn't you?" DUDE WAS ON TO ME.
@@Mr_TatorHead tried to get Borgo again with offerings for the rest of the night. Used 14 map offerings in a row and got either F. Ruins or Square with Gallows every time except for the last one (which had the double-pallet market). Wish my RNG had been better, coulda practiced more 😭
This kinda makes me want to do the gallows tip! I totally could but been trying to spread around the love between the maps! And admittedly I have been trying to stay away from maps I haven't done a guide for yet, so that if someone wants more examples I could immediately point them in the direction of the full guide with MANY more examples! I had considered doing a double vid with gallows as well, but that would defeat the purpose of a "shorter" video when this one was already half an hour long! Plus at that point might as well do the whole borgo guide! 😂 Still considering that though! Gallows is one of my favorite tiles in teh game as well and can't wait to get to it!
Hell yeah! I get Killer to iri 1 every month! playin killer in the beginning part of the stream! I usually warm up with doctor, but I just let survivors go when playing him (only 1-2 games. As fun as it sounds, being nice and letting survs go gets REALLY boring after 1-2 games. So its a perfect warmup for the hands!), then switch to Nemesis (my main) for like 2 more hours! Then do open lobbies on survivor after! (always open lobbies once iri 1 survivor! I just like to solo up to iri 1!) Stream starts at 4:20pm EST, every weekday!
No problem! I will get around to every full map guide eventually! Don't have too much editing time during summer so that is the reason for the shorter videos, but trying to get into a rhythm of making these while working on the longer guides simultaneously!
Best loop guides in dbd, great job man, please keep it up! The map specific ones are really good, but a bit too long. Even tho all the info is necessary and great, I find myself having to watch in increments because its just information overload otherwise. These shorter, tile specific ones are way easier to watch casually. 😋
Having short versions of all the tiles is the goal! I like having the long versions for reference, especially for when more examples of different killers is desired but ain't nobody got 6 hours! But if someone wants to look at one portion of a map, or just hates a map in particular, the long guides come in handy! Will have a long guide for all the maps one day then could do the rest of these in a heartbeat! These don't really take any time at all! Thanks for the kind words mate I appreciate em! Got TONS more of these on the way!
Was going to wait for gallows for the guide for that reason, but I can't make the guide yet since there is one tile I am still working on! Just changed strategies on the campfire gym (only appears in Borgo realm, but does appear on both maps!) but feels bad to be like "Heres a tip for a tile that only spawns half of the time, and won't tell you about the other tile!" Kinda stuck on this one tbh! Gallows is one of my favorite tiles too so I might just skip it up as well!
These are SO MUCH FUN! The little ramp on the flower in the corner of Toba, the front pallet on Gideon meat plant... there needs to be WAY more of these! They are so interesting!
There use to be a tile on dvarka with a window and a little ramp on the outskirts of the map. They got rid of it for some reason but it was one of my favourites and offered really good mind games
That's still there! It just moves around now! There are 2 different plant tiles, one of which just has unsafe window and unsafe pallet, kinda far from each other, and the other plant has the window with a longside on the left and shortside on the right, and the pallet with the ramp on the other side! I LOVE that tile too! It's so much fun!
It's just a single tile to be fair! And this tile only spawns 50% of the time! the other tile that can spawn is the Gallows though! And I believe Gallows is also one of the best 1v1 tiles in the entire game! Was planning on doing Borgo full map guide soon but literally just changed methods on one of the tiles (campfire gym) and it's back to square 1 for that tile! 😂
@@Mr_TatorHead honestly I never remember seeing this tile spawn personally but I play the game everyday So I appreciate this! One day I'll get this tile to spawn and I will loop the killer like crazy now 😂
I know I’ve asked this MILLIONS of times. But what build would you recommend for learning how to loop? One build with an exhaustion perk and one without because when I run exhaustion perks I find myself trying to hard to rely/get value out of it instead of focusing on what I could’ve done.
Windows of opportunity (but DO NOT use it to just run pallet to pallet throwing them. If anything use it to get to pallets to greed. This perk can cause brain rot by just not thinking and running to lit up pallet and thrown lit up pallet), Overcome (lithe or dramaturgy) for exhaustion, fixated, and urban evasion are great looping perks. Resilience is as well for getting free vaults that you definitely should have been hit during while injured. Dead Hard is probably the best looping perks, but also causes MASSIVE brainrot. Allows survivors to make a free mistake while injured and get away with this, and this causes survs to play super reckless while having it, and if it doesn't work, they try to figure out how they could have used dead hard better, instead of improving on the pathing error that made dead hard necessary in the first place, and when dead hard works, they just run to safe pallets and start chucking them. This is why there are players with thousands of hours only using windows of opportunity and dead hard, and if they took them off they still have no idea how to path properly! I'd really suggest no exhaustion perk at all, as it gets people hit trying to get value out of the perk instead of using it when it was necessary! I would suggest something like well make it and/or kindred to help the team. There are lots of times where even though you know the whole map, and where exactly to loop, you never get that chance because all of your interactions with the killer were trading on hook/taking a hit for a survivor you couldn't finish healing etc! There are times where you can play for hours without actually getting into a decent chase, and not for lack of skill/experience! But a lot of times survivors will just slap 4 chase perks on there and that doesn't help anyone especially if they never even get a chase because someone else was getting the tunnel!
Forgot to say why I like overcome the most! If you are trying to work on looping a specific tile and are across the map getting an unhook or healing or just natural game flow, when you take a hit you can pretty much make it all the way across the map to the tile you want to loop! And if the killer disengages because of the distance gained from overcome, you are still back to the area you want to loop anyway! Lithe can help with this as well but does lead to people taking hits trying to get lithe value in the killers face. Dramaturgy is lowkey the best exhaustion for being out of position since you can just activate it at any time while healthy and not exhausted!
This is a great question! 😂 There are a few tiles that are designed masterfully (the bad docks, shelter woods main building) but for every one of those there is the filler pallet in downstairs of Temple of Purgation 😂
Hell yeah! Admittedly that will probably be one of the last, if not the last, full map guide I will make! It's one of my favorite maps in the game, but I almost never get it! And there are more tiles than appear on the map, meaning you would have to play a bunch just to get all of the tiles! I could do a complete walkthrough right now but I just don't have the examples for it!
@@Mr_TatorHead yeah its my favorite map aswell along with midwich, i hope u can get all of the examples, that video is going to be very usefull, i also cant figure a lot of things out even tho i played it a lot, the video u made about the loop in hawkins helped me a lot, now i get way safer loops, keep the good work man, this guides are pure gold
Great guide! But please could you lower the volume on you screaming "YES"? Have to keep juggling the volume between you talking quietly vs you screaming.
Hell yeah! I am trying to put a shorter one out every weekend until the end of summer! Once summer ends I will have more time to edit the longer guides again! Still editing those too just can do one of these rather quickly in comparison!
Thanks Axis I appreciate it mate! This one got a little long but I actually didn't know how to shorten it besides having less examples at the end...but if it's a good 1v1 tile it would be a poor choice to have only like 2 chases against 2 total different killers 😂
If you want to, on Monday! I do open lobbies every time I am playing survivor and already iri 1! I just like to solo my way up to iri 1! I go live at 4:20pm EST Monday - Friday, but since I am already iri 1 on Survivor, I am playing killer for about the first 3 hours, then open lobbies on the next 3! You can play 2 games at a time! We were doing 3 games at a time, but when Otzdarva gave the shoutout on that weekly compilation, we started having people that we didn't get around to, so lowered the games from 3 at a time to 2!
I appreciate it mate but you can do anything I ever do trust me! I don't want others to go the trial and error method though that takes WAY too long to figure out which circles to run in and where to stop!
Been working on the full Ormond guide! I probably should have had it done already but I have less editing time during the summer, and the time I do have to edit I have been lazy with 😂
Thanks mate! Now hopefully you get Market when you play Borgo! Although the gallows market (what you would get instead) is also one of the most fun tiles in dbd!
Love trying out the new/changed stuff in the PTB (public test build), the problem is when it goes live either completely nerfed or completely buffed and the experience of using them didn't even matter 😂
What's life without some hot takes in video games and sports! And yeah I LOVE that most of the tiles are unique to Borgo! Stuff like Killer Shack is SO BORING to me 😂 Can run that on any map in the game (besides indoor maps) and on killer forced to chase killer shack on every map (except indoor maps). I'm just over it 😂
Yup! I like to try the new/changed perks in the PTB (public test build) before they go live! Sucky thing is when something gets changed hardcore before it goes live, so when it does go live I still don't really have a clue how strong it is 😂 Same thing with the Chaos shuffle actually! Was running 4 perks on survivors in that playlist, when I could only have ever run 1 perk on them in the first place until I spend the bp!
gotta keep your momentum (feet) moving towards the tile! That way when you get caught changing directions, you are already moving towards it, so that there is no way to be caught going the wide way, away from the tile! Try not to get caught just straight up changing directions from left to right, but instead from left forward to right forward!
I wish I had a better answer for you, but I own dbd on PC and Nintendo Switch! So I sit afk as killer on the switch, while running my yap as survivor on pc!
Sort of! Some of these clips were in PTB (public test build) where the new killer/survivors were in testing! I like to try the new/changed stuff in the PTBs when they are available! Once it hits live servers I would only be able to run one perk on them or I'd have to spend some bp!
AHHHH!! I wasn't even thinking about that! I'm a super tryhard and switch to controller for survivor! I'm that much of a sweatlord that I will change whole devices while switching roles to give what I perceive as the biggest advantage possible 😂
@@Mr_TatorHead No problem I found it but it was a different one hahaha he had a different name and he used additions and I am a killer I play everyone without additions. And thanks for replying to my comment love your videos keep up the good work 👍🏼

That has always been a glitch with dead hard! Where you are supposed to get thrown, so the laid back animation starts, but the dead hard stopped it, so the "racecar" looking posture happens. I have NO IDEA why it happened here, and had never actually gotten to do it before so it made me laugh my ass off at how weird turning the corner on it felt 😂
I will eventually! For the guides I want to play at base settings with no filters so that if someone is new to dbd and sees a guide, they know that they can start up the game and it will go/look exactly as it appears in the video! Once all the guides are done though I am DEFINITELY putting some filters in 😂
I like to try the new perks/changed perks in the ptb (public test build)! The problem is when things get nerfed/buffed so harshly they barely resemble the perks I was testing out 😂 I also had perks in the Chaos Shuffle! That one was funny because playing steve with 4 perks (albeit random) looked strange since steve can only run one perk if he tried since of the lack of spending bp! Almost all my survs/killers are p0 level 1!
I actually think there are a lot of fun tiles in this map! Although one of them is quite literally broken right now where you can not vault the window...it actually stops you from doing so 😂
Would have more views and subscribers if these videos werent half an hour too long, the information itself is awesome but nobody has time for all that lol
Yeah I can agree with that! Especially with the hours long looping guides 😂 I feel like the only reason I've met the people I have is from the shoutous from Otzdarva and KillaWhale! The thing is I'd rather make the right video that can actually help people vs the video that will get more clicks! I want the videos I wish I had while starting dbd!
This is so bad example, maybe against 0 iq clueless killers and btw borgo is on of the worst designed maps in the entire game like the fillers dont even make sense and the tiles are so horrible designed
I appreciate it mate but you can do anything I can! Trust me on that! It shouldn't take all these thousands of hours to find which circles to run in and where to stop!

@@Mr_TatorHead I asked in one of your YT streams but im guessing you read twitch chat but if you have the time, a Toba Landing video would help greatly. Its one of those maps I grimace at when I load in.
Toba is awesome! Planned on doing like 6 full map guides before making it to that one though to be fair!
That movement tip about not swinging around and instead, facing the loop is going to save my ass
Have an example of that being super relevant later against a clown! Wanted to use it as an example early on but saved it for the part of the tile the clip took place on!
Sameeeee
me to always do the dumb dance XDD
I didnt understannd
i came back to this video after a 5 hours game sesh and yes that tip single handedly got me 5 escapes
The “YESSSS” got me crying tears of joy 😭 thank you for sharing the loop knowledge! 🙏
Bro this series is so informative, love the content, keep it up!
Thanks for the kind words mate I appreciate em! Wish I had one of these for every tile but I will one day!
It's crazy!
These vids are so good man
The examples vs killers that aren't just m1 are sick.
The amount of times the pathing was good throughout, just to give up one big goofy turnaround and get hit 😂
And hell yeah! Right now during summer am trying to put a new vid out at 10 am Saturdays! Trying to get used to that rhythm while editing the longer guides and do them both hand in hand! Will have more editing time once the summer is over though!
First minute alone is a huge tip for the whole game I never considered before. Thanks!
No problem mate! This is one of the most fun tiles in the whole game! If you don't get this one you get gallows which is also a GREAT tile!
brother i have 1500 hours which isnt anything crazy but the amount u have shown me with these guides is insane helping me to min max my loops for real!
Directions unclear, killer used event power to delete pallet after I predropped.
bruh that SUCKS 😂
So pleased to see my drop of Benny Hill in the tutorial dude! 😂 Love throwing that on whenever you get Borgo!
and youtube allowed it! was nervous about that but it's good! And thank you so much once again!
I am very happy that guy made a video with you in it. Happy to have found this channel
Was it KillaWhale's video or Otzdarva's shoutout! I pretty much just assume everyone I know either came from one or the other! Those were some SERIOUSLY kind things to do!
21:53 billy hill theme was perfect here 😂
And youtube allowed it! It was short enough of a clip of it that it wasn't copyright striked or anything! SUPER thankful for that!
@@Mr_TatorHead hahaha amazing
🎉
For ONCE youtube reccomendation has hit the spot and i'm omw to binging every single one of your videos, ty for ur hard work !
Bro there's no way to run the gallows. You make no distance
that tip alone for tight looping is what keeps me playing on controller for survivors (but mouse and keys for killer), its just too much of an advantage being able to have smaller, more specific movements with a joystick as opposed to the 8 directions afforded to WASD! Also that is some lag! You must live kinda far from the servers which is rough :(
You might be able to change what servers you are on though and see if that helps!
That is hilarious 20:55 Wesker line makes it 100x funnier 😂
Really wish he respected that pallet harder so that wackiness could have continued for longer 😂
Aye. Im in another looping video. Thats awesome. Great video and examples mate. These looping videos really help.
I was afraid the benny hill was gonna get cut out but the timing is perfect! It's short enough to not get picked up by copyright! I was SO HAPPY to see that! And thanks mate I appreciate it! Got TONS more where this came from!
Yk I’ve been watching more and more of your videos and slowly being chased and looping around is a lot more fun and easier once you know where to go
This is GREAT to hear! Looping is hilarious and ANYONE can do anything I ever do! Shouldn't take all these thousands of hours to figure out which circles to run in and where to stop neither! And when it doesn't, we could always have new player join/get friends into playing with us!
You know you're gonna see some unethical killer juicing when he says YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This tile is way too fun and ends up like that a lot! 😂
@@Mr_TatorHead we'll be here when you drop the vids! thanks so much!
That sloppy turnaround… I think you just fixed my loops.. also these videos are the single most valuable videos for training 😂
The amount of times that big goofy turnaround causes the killer to get a hit is INSANELY frustrating! Especially because it is a skill issue! It's like DAMN ME AGAIN 😂
Also thanks for the kind words mate! Have TONS more on the way!
Alright borgo being the best 1v1 caught my attention, cant wait to see some amazing gameplay at the end
Almost all of the tiles on Borgo are unique to Borgo! And non of them are just cookie cutter god pallets/windows! Love this map!
YEEEEEYYY this is really really good guide Mr Tatorhead
Ayy Thanks mate I really appreciate it! Got TONS more where this came from!
@@Mr_TatorHead i want you to know that, your guide help me a lot, especially the fence from the crow and the elevator from RAPD 🤣🤣🤣🤣 it's so hilarious
Theres another fence on Borgo! And more escalators in Hawkins too! Wish I had them out for ya but one day they will all be done!
The way you enjoy dbd is so unique
It's so much fun! And anyone can do anything I ever do and they can have so might as well show peeps in case they don't know so they don't have to make all the same mistakes first!
Thanks, for these Tutorial videos! I'll definitely watch this later, when i have time.
No problem! Wish I had one for every tile, but will one day! I really didn't mean for this one to get this long but it's such an interesting tile!
My survivor game has improved like a thousand times especially after the Mac millan estate main loop vid and after loading into the map, I looped the killer indefinitely
This is GREAT to hear! The storehouse is hilarious! Most of the Macmillan main buildings are hilarious to be honest!
Im a killer main and play surv with my friends occasionally, but I stink at it! The juicing guides are so good, I loved the dead dog saloon one! I would love a non map specific one though, going over generic tiles! Things like TL walls and shack and stuff would be super awesome ^w^
Thanks for all your help and sharing your knowledge!
- ruclips.net/video/IaTp_ynudZY/видео.html
And no problem!
After the match they said "you watched the tatorhead video, didn't you?"
DUDE WAS ON TO ME.
I can't properly express to you how much this made me laugh 😂
Still considering that though! Gallows is one of my favorite tiles in teh game as well and can't wait to get to it!
This video just hyped up my weekend!!!! Thank you so much!!!!
Ayy glad to hear it mate! And no problem! Got TONS more where this came from!
Thank you for the upload! Do you ever play Killer?
Thanks for one more. I hope you do a full Toba planet guide.
Will there be a gallows walkthrough in this short format soon? Or at this point you just want to do a full borgo guide?
Was going to wait for gallows for the guide for that reason, but I can't make the guide yet since there is one tile I am still working on! Just changed strategies on the campfire gym (only appears in Borgo realm, but does appear on both maps!) but feels bad to be like "Heres a tip for a tile that only spawns half of the time, and won't tell you about the other tile!" Kinda stuck on this one tbh! Gallows is one of my favorite tiles too so I might just skip it up as well!
i would love it if they added more half-height loops like the market
Nothing like a Tator video with a Chinese takeaway to go with!
Set for the night basically! This one was longer too so would be perfect length!
I always avoided this tile on borgo. cant wait to give this a shot
I avoided this one for a while too but it's so much fun now! If you get gallows instead that is also a great 1v1 tile!
Great guide, as always!
Thanks Hells!! I appreciate it mate! Got TONS more on the way!
Thank you so much for the map tutorial for borgo this is very helpful for me
It's just a single tile to be fair! 😂
@@Mr_TatorHead honestly I never remember seeing this tile spawn personally but I play the game everyday
So I appreciate this!
One day I'll get this tile to spawn and I will loop the killer like crazy now 😂
Walked by it a lot after the rework not really noticing it much as well tbf!
Thank you so much! So helpful ! 🙌😎
No problem Ophelia! Got TONS more where this came from!
@@Mr_TatorHead yay 🙌 😎
Hahaha nice you used the any means perk suggestion! Great!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THAT SUGGESTION!!!! That helped so much already. I can't thank you enough!
@@Mr_TatorHead of course! I'm so glad! 😄
Omg this loop is nuts😂😂
It's so much fun! So is gallows when you get that one instead tbh!
Tator cooking as always.
Can't stop until I got something for every map!
Wow this tile is really well designed. Do you think bhvr did that intentionally? Or pure accident 😂
This is a great question! 😂 There are a few tiles that are designed masterfully (the bad docks, shelter woods main building) but for every one of those there is the filler pallet in downstairs of Temple of Purgation 😂
I rlly love this guides, i wonder if u could make a hawkins lab guide, it would be awesome
Hell yeah love hawkins! That map is ALL about pallet greeding and making it somewhere else! Thanks for the kind words mate and will do!
Great guide! But please could you lower the volume on you screaming "YES"? Have to keep juggling the volume between you talking quietly vs you screaming.
I can start doing that! Warning about the one coming today though 😂
YAY new looping guide!
Hell yeah! I am trying to put a shorter one out every weekend until the end of summer! Once summer ends I will have more time to edit the longer guides again! Still editing those too just can do one of these rather quickly in comparison!
great guide sensei
Thanks Axis I appreciate it mate! This one got a little long but I actually didn't know how to shorten it besides having less examples at the end...but if it's a good 1v1 tile it would be a poor choice to have only like 2 chases against 2 total different killers 😂
Thank you for the lesson
No problem mate! Wish I had one for every tile!
I can't believe that I've been ignoring this tile all this time.
I ignored it for a while too king! Now it's one of my fav tiles in the whole game!
When am I gonna be able to play a match alongside tator?
If you want to, on Monday! I do open lobbies every time I am playing survivor and already iri 1! I just like to solo my way up to iri 1! I go live at 4:20pm EST Monday - Friday, but since I am already iri 1 on Survivor, I am playing killer for about the first 3 hours, then open lobbies on the next 3! You can play 2 games at a time! We were doing 3 games at a time, but when Otzdarva gave the shoutout on that weekly compilation, we started having people that we didn't get around to, so lowered the games from 3 at a time to 2!
Bro is a looping God
I appreciate it mate but you can do anything I ever do trust me! I don't want others to go the trial and error method though that takes WAY too long to figure out which circles to run in and where to stop!
Can you do ormond main building guide ?
Been working on the full Ormond guide! I probably should have had it done already but I have less editing time during the summer, and the time I do have to edit I have been lazy with 😂
Appreciate you!
Thanks Dryad I appreciate YOU!!!!
The market place is crazy 😂
The Market is SO MUCH FUN! So is the gallows if you get that one instead!
@@Mr_TatorHead the market is so cool! It might just be the best part of this map
I wish survivors would learned team looping, It's like ten times easier, And you get alot of perk points for it too
Can just bunch 4 people in saloon and force killer to chase 😂
Very useful
Thanks mate! Now hopefully you get Market when you play Borgo! Although the gallows market (what you would get instead) is also one of the most fun tiles in dbd!
Thanks Tator 🙏🙏
No problem mate! got TONS more on the way!
@@Mr_TatorHead Thanks bro, you are the best :)
He's using a perk!!! :O
Love trying out the new/changed stuff in the PTB (public test build), the problem is when it goes live either completely nerfed or completely buffed and the experience of using them didn't even matter 😂
That is a hot take lol 😂 it always feels so empty to me
What's life without some hot takes in video games and sports! And yeah I LOVE that most of the tiles are unique to Borgo! Stuff like Killer Shack is SO BORING to me 😂 Can run that on any map in the game (besides indoor maps) and on killer forced to chase killer shack on every map (except indoor maps). I'm just over it 😂
game changing videos
Thanks for the kind words mate! I wish I had something for every map done already! One day though! Working towards that goal as we speak!
19:27 HE IS USING PERKS!!!!!!
Yup! I like to try the new/changed perks in the PTB (public test build) before they go live! Sucky thing is when something gets changed hardcore before it goes live, so when it does go live I still don't really have a clue how strong it is 😂
Same thing with the Chaos shuffle actually! Was running 4 perks on survivors in that playlist, when I could only have ever run 1 perk on them in the first place until I spend the bp!
How do you not swing around when changing directions??
gotta keep your momentum (feet) moving towards the tile! That way when you get caught changing directions, you are already moving towards it, so that there is no way to be caught going the wide way, away from the tile! Try not to get caught just straight up changing directions from left to right, but instead from left forward to right forward!
@@Mr_TatorHead Thank you sensei I will try this next time I play
Ofc there’s a Wesker in the ptb
You never know! Maybe he was testing out the new infection rate!...best defense I got 😂
how are you able to test these maps solo?
I wish I had a better answer for you, but I own dbd on PC and Nintendo Switch! So I sit afk as killer on the switch, while running my yap as survivor on pc!
OMG HE DOES HAVE PERKS
Sort of! Some of these clips were in PTB (public test build) where the new killer/survivors were in testing! I like to try the new/changed stuff in the PTBs when they are available! Once it hits live servers I would only be able to run one perk on them or I'd have to spend some bp!
As always, awesome informative video! Thank you for your work! ( ´ ▿ ` )
Thanks for the kind words mate I appreciate em! and no problem! Got TONS more like this on the way!
Guys, do you think this guy has space bar in his keyboard or na?
I'm not sure what this means 😂 like a space bar or space like spacial movement?
@@Mr_TatorHead space bar ye 🤣, you never throw those pallets and you get away with it
AHHHH!! I wasn't even thinking about that! I'm a super tryhard and switch to controller for survivor! I'm that much of a sweatlord that I will change whole devices while switching roles to give what I perceive as the biggest advantage possible 😂
21:22 min what was the name from the killer ? I think it was me 😭🤣🤣
I highlight like every survivor game and name them on twitch so it's there! I couldn't tell ya at the moment though 😢
@@Mr_TatorHead No problem I found it but it was a different one hahaha he had a different name and he used additions and I am a killer I play everyone without additions. And thanks for replying to my comment love your videos keep up the good work 👍🏼
this loop is quite easy, if the killer has hands
It's always an interesting chase at he market place!
I just do double team looping, 1v1 Is already in the game as is It's called hatch game lol
Happy hour in dead dawg saloon is exactly this! Can have the whole squad there running for fun if they want 😂
@@Mr_TatorHead DBD Terminologies , Double looping - when two players loop the killer at the same time , Hook trade - When a killer hits you in the back as you ubhook a survivor , Survivor reset - When survivors heal , Double heal - When two survivors heal Another survivor , gen jockey - When an survivor does nothing but gens , Survivor driver - When 2 survivors run together Front to back One survivor has to be The driver , 50/50 Locker - When A survivor jumps into a locker To dodge killer M1 , 50/50 Drop - When A survivor falls Hoping the killer does not M1 them While killer also falls behind , Survivor 99% Health baiting - Survivor fully Heals Just right before killer M1
21:08 wtf is this 😂🚗
That has always been a glitch with dead hard!
@@Mr_TatorHead yeah I've never seen this either I'm so surprised 😂😂😂
ну пожааалуйста осветляйте картинку, ничерта не видно
I will eventually! For the guides I want to play at base settings with no filters so that if someone is new to dbd and sees a guide, they know that they can start up the game and it will go/look exactly as it appears in the video! Once all the guides are done though I am DEFINITELY putting some filters in 😂

Wish I knew what this meant mate! I only speak English! Always seems like a superpower to be able to speak multiple languages!

Ayy thanks mate I really appreciate it!
I hate skull merchant
Admittedly, I REALLY wish that there was a way to get rid of a scan while not in chase. Maybe disarm a drone and lose a scan or something?

no perks since 2020 eh? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
I like to try the new perks/changed perks in the ptb (public test build)! The problem is when things get nerfed/buffed so harshly they barely resemble the perks I was testing out 😂
I also had perks in the Chaos Shuffle! That one was funny because playing steve with 4 perks (albeit random) looked strange since steve can only run one perk if he tried since of the lack of spending bp! Almost all my survs/killers are p0 level 1!

Only ever seen that as a dead hard glitch! I have no idea what caused it here! 😂
Really boring Map.Was one of my favourite Maps before the Rework
I actually think there are a lot of fun tiles in this map! Although one of them is quite literally broken right now where you can not vault the window...it actually stops you from doing so 😂
???????? XDDDDDDDD
Love the Market tile!
I completely disagree mate
@@Mr_TatorHead can u try this on a experienced killer and not braindead 500h wesker
there were like 10 different killers (players) used in these examples 😂
You are amazing
I appreciate it mate but you can do anything I can! Trust me on that! It shouldn't take all these thousands of hours to find which circles to run in and where to stop!
