That was the weirdest crossover.....
The Japanese version of the Legendary Battle was actually great and it even featured a final battle with all Megazords. The problem is that it included a lot of shows that never made it to America under the Power Rangers name, but I don't know how they just couldn't include it as rangers from other planets or something. After all, they still used some of the morphs with stupid names they could've showed the whole battle.

I actually thought the Legendary Battle was pretty good. At least several old actors, though not all of them obviously, were able and willing to reprise their respective roles. I don't think Forever Red episode was as good as you claim to be, as it was never explained why only the Red Rangers were needed to defeat the remnants of the Machine Empire. Would be more epic to have at least ALL the Wild Force Rangers join the battle...
Daniel Brongers Too bad all the past rangers were glorified cameos at best and barely contributed to the plot besides that battle at the end but the Megaforce Rangers could’ve dealt with them by themselves. And while that’s true it’s not something that makes the story nonsensical and the Red Rangers were enough to defeat the empire so that didn’t feel forced.
I thought they made it only Red Rangers to honor the legacy of the amazing leaders throughout Power Ranger history like Leo, Carter, Tommy, etc.

The thing is, the “legendary battle” was actually a flashback in gokaiger (the season SMF was based on). It showed how all of the rangers gave up their powers to defeat the bad guys, but lost regardless. The gokaigers find their lost powers in the form of ranger keys and so on.
8:19 - like how it was all explained. Especially with the line "When the big day finally arrived, it was a SUPER MEGA let- down" that part was my fav.

Time for Lightspeed wasn't too bad. I agree that the episode could have been a two-parter, however seeing 12 Rangers and 5 sets of Battlizer Armors is pretty badass.

Actually all three are from that show. The main leader (black looking one) is the main villain in BeetleBorgs. The other two are 2/3 of the heroes. I loved that show too btw.

The fight was good, but the plot itself was kinda mediocre to outright bad
Instead of focusing on the team up, the whole plot revolves around....a one off kid character
there was not enough team ups to do a dishonorable and honorable mentions

I agree with you on Plot. Not a lot of these Team-Ups have Megazord battles.
The Galaxy Rangers were barely in it, with Damon and Kendrix only coming in at the last minute, Trakeena and Leo's actors walking out, and that Megazord fight was so short it was barely worth mentioning.

If the legendary battle was longer
- had all the morphing sequences
- throw in some zords
- more of the veterans actors

True. Plus they had Keys to acces all the old powers. Which made this battle kind of useless. I like seeing all the costumes but it was sad we could not see all the actors too... Mega Force had so so mu h potential yet I don't know what happend with the writters.
Say what you want about Time Force/Wild Force crossover, but it was a nice to see Wes and Jen reunited after the ending of Time Force. Beside the epic teamup battle seeing those two reunite had to be the best scene in the episode. I say besides because lets face it, when it comes to power rangers crossovers, we turn to it to see the epic team-up battles, but it doesn't hurt to see a reunion like that as well

It would have worked much better in two parts as it feels too rushed in just one episode
I think it is because they brought back vipra, the worst villain in lightspeed, as well as only having one part. Other than that, the team up had all 6 lightspeed rangers return and fight with the 6 time force rangers. I still think the zeo/alien ranger team up was worse since that team up didn’t get a full team morph and only had 2 out of suit alien rangers. At least at the time this video was made. If it was made today, than the Dino team up in Beast Morphers would take this spot.
the Lightspeed / Lost Galaxy team up was really awesome. Also the in Space / Lost Galaxy team up was in my opinion #1 had every element needed for a season of sacrifice. On top of that it set the stage for a great Redemption ark for Karone , Formerly Astronema. Forever Red was really good but in the end it didn't have long standing effects on the wild force team and thus didn't really contribute to the overall story the way Power of pink did with Kendrix's sacrifice. Crossover team ups are really awesome but for me To the tenth / power of pink from Lost Galaxy were the best crossover cause of the long term effects to the rest of the season with the loss of Kendrix. Karone was a great pink ranger for the remainder of lost Galaxy and she was given the redemption ark her character was well deserving of, having been the sister to Andros the in space Red Ranger.

I personally think that Once a ranger is very good, in fact one of my favorites. It showed us the inside of the hero, and it also stated that heroes are just humans, and as humans, no one is perfect, it slightly like KR Ryuki. It also stated that no matter who you are, PR or not as long as you still fight for justice you will still have power, like the slogan: Once a ranger, always a ranger

I personally think once a ranger is my least favorite crossover. At least the megaforce rangers don’t quit. In fact in the episode endgame, when they did lose their powers they were willing to sacrifice their own lives to save the earth when the messenger attempted to vaporize them before the armada’s invasion. But that’s just my opinion

For me the idea of Kendrix's death still most memorable. Getting better with Karone filling up the shoes for Pink Galaxy Ranger eventho the ending is not quite remarkable. They should've called Andros team to thank his sister properly. But anyway Forever Red is one of the best I couldn't agree more.

Once a Ranger is not terrible, but WatchMojo listed the reason why it is still really bad as it made the Overdrive Rangers look really, really bad. The two ranger teams should always compliment and bring out the best in each other but in this case, the veterans basically made the Overdrive Rangers look like whiny and incompetent babies.

I was at a Con that had the Pink Ninja Steel Ranger. She said she was incredible proud to be apart of it. Then Id interviewed Steven Skyler (Gold Samurai Ranger) he said its gonna be better than the Legendary War!
I'm not expecting it to be very good. I haven't bothered to keep up with "Ninja Steel", it's a very underwhelming season.

I love all the “good” crossovers. The only “bad” crossovers that I still like is the Ninja Turtles and the Legendary Battle. I just love seeing a good fight.

Honestly Time For Lightspeed does not deserve to be anywhere near close to associated with train wrecks like Once A Ranger and the Legendary Battle. It's not that bad and should have been replaced with True Blue to the Rescue from In Space that brought back freaking Justin who nobody wanted to see again.

"Reinforcements from the Future" should've been number one. As great as "Forever Red" was as a 10th anniversary special, it's not the best written, acted, or story driven. It's good at what it has to be, fan service. I like both, but "Reinforcements from the Future" combines the best aspects of the two best seasons of Power Rangers, playing to the strengths of both teams both morphed and unmorphed.
Also "Shell Shocked" was too high and "Once a Ranger" too low. "Shell Shocked" was just boring and forgettable, whereas "Once a Ranger" the 15th anniversary special was insulting on many levels.
And you should've mentioned how "To the Tenth Power" and "The Power of Pink" were originally written because Kendrix's actress was forced to leave the show to get treatment for leukamia, and the intent was to replace her with Cassie. Ultimately, the plans fell through, prompting a slight rewrite to the end of "The Power of Pink".
How was "Once a Ranger" insulting? I get that the season over all was not one of the best but the episode was not that bad over all.

Forever red was fantastic! It could of used 2 episodes maybe even more, still great.
Interestingly, Forever Red was supposed to have a vastly different ending. I'm not sure if it's true or not, but there *WAS* a RUclips video that depicted an ending where Jason would scarifice himself to stop Serpentera. I don't know for sure if that was real, or just very clever editing though. If it was planned though, I'm glad they didn't go through with it. In 2002, killing Jason would've been too much heartbreak for fans.

They re-use costumes quite a bit. Heck, Psycho Red was the first monster Lightspeed Rescue fought...
DIsney owned the series at that point and was planning to cancel it, so the production staff had to practically beg to get the funding for it, right after they did the Time Force / WIld Force crossover, which was very expensive for a PR episode. Its reusing what you have for maximum effect. Plus they aren't referred to as Beelteborgs or supposed to be those characters
FOREVER RED is the best episode of all of Power Rangers. I still wish that it was a two-parter. Explains how did the Machine Empire survive,how each red rangers received their contact about the return of the Machine Empire and how did it get their powers back. Allover,best episode.

Leaving it off is probably for the best. Its better than the Legendary Battle, but it had a lot of problems of its own. Half the episode is just a standard Ninja Storm episode and the returning veterans got more dialogue and things to do in the LEGEND BATTLE, except for Tommy, of course.
PissedGrunty just out of curiosity, where would you rank it if it was on this list: best, worst, or honorable/dishonorable mention?
@@TylerPCoyne The one word that describes the "worsts" is laziness and while I have issues with the pacing of Dimensions, it certainly isn't lazy. They clearly put a lot of effort into it. The "Bests" are all paced excellently. So... Dimensions is just kind in the middle for me, not best or worst. I enjoyed it, and if they just made it two episodes a lot of my issues would probably be fixed.
Let's just hope the 25th anniversary episode will be good...wonder which Rangers will be in the episode. And hopefully it will be better than Legendary Battle.

How did anyone not enjoy Once a Ranger? It's was unique from previous crossovers that just brought in the immediate predecessor team. It brought in power rangers from various seasons.

The biggest issue I have with the Forever Red crossover is that they're supposed to be on the moon and yet they have no problem breathing despite there being no oxygen and the generals of the machine empire are riding horses.
It’s the same reasoning behind why they made it possible for the ninja turtles and the power rangers to exist in the same universe, COMIC BOOK LOGIC

That crossover episode with ninja turtles was good, I know you people on watch mojo hate that ninja turtles series, but it was cool that both Power Rangers and TMNT do a crossover!

I love that crossover. It's one of my favorites. Before it happened that's all I wanted was for Power Rangers to crossover with the Ninja Turtles and/or the Beetleborgs. Too bad the Beetleborgs never happened (Forever Red doesn't count)

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles = Nickekodeon/Viacom
Vincent Ly both Power Rangers and TMNT are on Nickelodeon, they both used to be on Fox Kids and both shows PR and Turtles: NM were able to do the crossover.
Both PR and TMNT are on three channels, including Fox Kids, Jetix and Nickelodeon.

I loved all of these crossovers! My favorite crossovers were Forever Red, Power Rangers in space/TMNT, Dino Thunder/SPD, Dino Thunder/Ninja Storm and Super Megaforce: legendary Rangers.
Which SPD/DinoThunder team up? There are 2.
I never understood the whole Megaforce Legendary battle, yeah, they explained the rangers we never had series for, but how does Tommy is Saba, and still morph into the Green Ranger, with a destroyed coin, while they had rangers that had only one actor for multiple series. The perfect example being Tommy was MMPR Green, MMPR White, Zeo Red, Turbo Red, and DT Black. But TJ was also Turb Red, and In Space Blue.
Time for Lightspeed at least is better than Trakeena’s Revenge.
JamesTheBrony/JTB I liked Trakeena’s revenge for the same reasons that I liked Time for lightspeed. Plus at least it wasn’t rushed by being a two-parter like how watchmojo said that time for lightspeed should’ve been (even though I don’t think that time for lightspeed should’ve been labeled as an WORSE).
Once a ranger had so much potential, but it wasn’t very good. They even gave it a rare 2 parter.
i donno Mack stayed around but the others hightailed it... the other rangers were awesome especially since they weren't the main primary ranger a series seems to focus on

Am I the only one who enjoys Once a Ranger from operation overdrive??? Bc there were 5 different rangers from 5 different eras. Although that might not make sense, I was a damn kid and damn well enjoyed seeing different rangers taking over zords of operation overdrive. Also it drove the idea of never giving up and seriously “once a ranger, always a ranger”
