He was a self made Legend. I don't remember I have felt this emotional on the demise of any other celebrity in my whole life. I expected more of him in Cinema. A great human being, actor, family man and an artist that left this world too soon. Irrfan Khan: you will be missed and the void created by your sudden demise can never be filled. Rest in Peace!!

5:50 Irrfan sir was visionary. Given him 10 more years in his career, he would have achieved some feats no one would have ever dreamt of, in India. He was the fan of art and not at all chasing the money. The guy who worked with utmost honestly and gave what he could to his profession. Gone too soon sir, gone too soon.

When you see SRK in such interviews, you always notice this jitteryness in him, always feeling restless to say the next smart or witty thing. It seems to have become so much that you miss the real person.
Irfan here on the other hand is totally at home and at peace, even when sitting besides Tom Hanks.

Both actors known for exceptional cinema but being on the same platform, the profoundness and depth of understand Irrfan Khan has w.r.t acting, cinema, impact on audience, commercial is far beyond Tom Hanks. Tom is almost learning from Irrfan in this interview.

Unlike other bollywood celebs, we never witnessed him being ostentatious and making use of his stardom. He never engaged in a fight with anyone and despite all that he was the best actor we had.
My heart and soul is refusing to believe that irrfan is gone. He was too young to die. Yes, He had achieved so much in such short span but he could have achieved so much more. He only had the potential to score an Oscar from this industry.

Two of my favourite actors representing the best in their respective backgrounds. Turning 40 today,
I have grown up on Amitabh Bachchan's dialogues and style SRK's K3G, Salman Khan's dishoom dishoom movies... What the starting point I never knew, but I gravitated towards cinema such as lunchbox, Piku, Mulk, etc... I think after a while, you will go for a movie that's more 'real than reel'... And Irfan Khan has left such a huge of pair shoes that no other actor, in his category, would be able to fill.
Wow as an actor Irrfan really did understand what movies are supposed to do to the Audience. It's not just about watching a movie it's the feeling you get after you leave the theater and reminisce the experience. Till date I think Interstellar was that movie which had massive impact on me. I had the hang of that movie for 7 months after I watched it in the theaters.
Irrfan khan comes among those acting legends that is one of a kind.. unique..talented but also so genuine and humble - We will miss you Irrfan- thank you for gracing us with your amazing talent and work

Aspired to work with Irrfan ever since I saw ‘Rog’.. I never got a chance, he left too soon but I’m so very glad I made a film about him myself, playing him, living him, felt being around him for so many months during covid. Miss you around Lafaani!
