100% agree with your choice of a few "top-tier" string writers (1:07:33). Debussy, Dvorak, and Brahms immediately came to mind--especially as masters of writing for cello in an orchestral context. Would put Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich up there as well.

How he lets the music breathe, the counterpoint and unity of lines and how these things create beautiful moments. The cadences chosen, modulations that occur, how lines are adapted, notes on how he tells the players to play...ect Additionally the complex states of emotion that the instrumentals evoke. It is almost hard putting it into words because it is music. Incredible music!
