Thanks for the follow up Lucy. Always good to hear real life people telling us how it really is rather than listening to the fear inducing clickbait media . 😉👍
Hello Lucy, thanks for the update travelling out soon and we were concerned about check in but thankfully all seems ok. Wishing you all a very happy Christmas and maybe see you out and about in the New Year!!
We have just returned to the UK from Benidorm and the checking in process was a doddle name address and telephone number. email address didn't take long we stayed at the Posieden playa had a wonderful time 🎉
Hi Lucy, great video, thank you..... we found no difference when checking in at Hotel Barcelo....same details we've provided at other hotels!..... Hope you've found your glue!?...haha.... Have a great Christmas....x
Haha Merry Crimbo, I still haven't attempted the glue yet. I need to be in the right frame of mind or it will end up more broken 😂😂 xx merry crimbo to you both and thanks for the Bday pressie ❤
Hello Lucy I'm just back from Tenerife and when checking in at the Hotel the only difference i noticed was an emphasis on getting my mobile number. The real problem i find for me Personally are UK Airports in the South of England. This time i flew from Stanstead and from start to finish a Horrible Experience .Surely they can treat people better in my opinion it is worse than it was 50 years ago.Anyway Lucy Seasons Greetings to you and next year Lucy the most important thing The Best of Health to you and yours. Kindest Regards. David😊😊
Happy Christmas Lucy and your partner , have a great time , and thankyou for all your help and information for this year , take care and stay safe xxx❤🎉❤
Checked in today at Fincas Benidorm renting an apartment’ it took 20 minutes compared to 5 minutes normally. The guy checking us in wasn’t happy with the changes. What’s an extra 15 minutes when your here for 28 days 😊
Thanks so much Lucy for the update. I've just came back from Hurghada, Egypt. They'd know what form filling was if they'd gone there! Betwen £20 visa to enter, form in airport to leave, 3 security checks. Spain for me next time lol😊
my wife and I checked in to a small hotel in Javea we did fill in a form.I am positive that large hotels will not have a problem their booking system is computerised and they will have al the details. these requirements are not new in europe watch the old film from the 7o´s THe Day Of The Jackal
The question is why are they gathering this extra data for What are they going to do or sell it on to ??? Anyway Happy Xmas to you and have a great new year
They will inform you via AirBnb of the check in procedure. They may ask you to fill something in beforehand or if its a face to face check in they might do it when you arrive. Write to them and ask if you are unsure
This shows how confused people are with all the different rule changes, new systems coming in, ETIAS, travel registry etc. Some answering about how they got through the airport or changing airports as one less busy than another!!!!
No telephone number or email think you the numbers will be sold to third party. And you will get unsolicited emails and phone calls. Will not be going to Spain. Many thinks for the update but I will keep watching your lovely video's and a happy Christmas and new year. 😊
Did you actually watch the video? You are obviously on social media, they all sell your info for a profit, they know what you like and target you. They don't need your email or phone number Scammers and commercial companies they just mass email and telephone lots of people anyway. The Spanish government are not in the business of selling info to Third parties. Spain's economy is good and rising, unlike the UK.
Typical of [fake]newspapers. Grab a situation and push it out of context and sensationalise. On the ground, face to face journalism is best. Well done Lucy. ;-]
Just another step towards a digital ID card ,if they fear monger and make things awkward then people will be queuing up to sign up for it for convenience.
There is one question not being asked.....are people being asked by the hotels to provide bank details. This plus ID plus addresses is enough info for criminals to get to work. Is it that the interviews are prepped and this part is left out. Vetted interviews. This is one of the key points that everyone should be worried about. It's an invasion of privacy. The same as sending ID to the police every time you check in. These details are important. The protection of data act is not being complied with. Anyway.

Hi Lucy Tam from Bathgate here we know Christine from Redcar her and her man Dave come up to the pub when we've got Brendan from Bodhran over for January gigs small world as they say
Checked in at the Presidente last week, absolute dodddle no problem whatsoever the only thing that has changed since last year is the amount of beggars on the streets the Presidente even has its own who sits at the bottom of the steps I won't be rushing back any time soon...
I used to go to Spain 3 or 4 times every year. Now. I am going elsewhere. I just will not comply with this Big Brother government overreach. It serves no purpose than to prepare the Sheeple for the Digital ID.
It's only for us britiish people who are residents of Spain 🇪🇸 I'd imagine they would ask for your details! I live in the Netherlands and I have been asked for my details from my bank!?.which no dowet they will pass my details to the duch government!?.
Burner phone, burner email, and just give a false address. You are responsible for your own safety and security. You hand over your personal data, you are inviting yourself to become a victim of crime.
@@davidwebb4904 The traveller registration system is linked to national and international databases!... It's main job is to look for discrepancies including reference numbers (contract identifiers), booking, check-in, and check-out dates etc... Only someone who has little to no cerebral matter would think providing different data that doesn't match up will be easy and won't raise immediate red flags on the system... There's also a risk of potential fines of up to 30k or worse sentences for misinformation 😉
Yeah you’re asking for trouble for what, the slim risk of getting a few spam messages? Many places already asked for this stuff anyway especially if you signed up for free Wi-Fi
It’s not just Spain though. Governments around the world are looking to control more and more whether it’s constant filming of us, facial recognition or gathering data about every aspect of our lives.

just make them up, you think the hotel will check lol
@@thelifeofbatteries2603 Doubtful that they would check I suppose, but there might be a regulation where they must randomly check so many a day.

I’m off to Cyprus ❤❤
spain is economically falling apart.
To stop us from going on holiday
I think if the hotel or holiday company emailed the form prior to arrival , it could save time
GOT HERE ON FRIDAY 13th CHECK IN WAS OK IN THE PUEBLO HOTEL JUST ADDRESS AND POST CODE AND PHONE NUMBER EASY
I'll save you 12 mins - nothing has changed from a year ago, i'm here now and the process was exactly the same
