Having a week in June but wanted to book in October for the moors and Christians festival it was great craic last year any chance you can let me know if dates have been decided can't find info online. Thanks a million and hope to bump into you in June around the rincon.😊
Yes there's normally a Tapas contest running for 2 weeks in June. Not got the dates confirmed yet but we will do a video at the end of May with June events 👍
Hi, I have just spent a few days in Benidorm and I tried some of those Tapas and I was completely blown away by them. They were so innovative and unique and at just 3.50 Euros each amazing value. I want to return and try them every one them! I have just moved to the Costa Del Sol and started my own channel called "Tapas Guy" and will focus on all aspects of Spanish life but Tapas in a main focus. You did actually capture me on your live walkabout! I was not sure it was you hiding underneath that cap until you passed me, I am keen to return sometime and cover the Tapas in Benidorm. Could Benidorm be the Tapas capital of Spain? I was blown away by Tapas Corner and the Alley and the standard of food, maybe we could do a joint video?😃😋🍲💌
I'm glad you enjoyed the Tapas aswel, wish you would have said hi on the live! Maybe catch you another time. Benidorm capital of Tapas, no definitely not there are other areas of Spain much more famous for their Tapas but Benidorm has great choice with options for all budgets 👍
A'reyt Lucy. Some of the tapas are a bit fancy for my simple taste. I like straight forward Spanish food more than things that seem to have a French chef style influence. It reminds me of how BBC went all posh restaurant style on food shows that were about good cooking you could reproduce at home. Mind you, I felt this was less so than last year as they did tempt me more this time.
I'm glad your favourite was El Puerto. That used to be our favourite restaurant in Benidorm when we lived down there. We used to go there for menú del día about once a week. I hope they win the competition. PS I doubt The Zodiac Bar is one of the entries 😀
