I've figured out an easier way to get the wind tunnel one, if you lip right next to the wall you can revert to wall ride, then wallplant, special and acid drop back into the other side where you can then grind the lip
That's exactly how I got it the second time around, couldn´t be bothered balancing that stupid lip again and then thought "oh wait, last time I did this I didn´t know how to wallie, so maybe..."

That is one thing I wish the game had was after you get a gap it shows you a screenshot of what it is in the list for refrence in challenges for stuff like this cause trying to remember them by name alone is annoying. Even after 100% all gaps I still don't even remember most of the gap names/locations.

It also doesn't help that some of the gaps are a little wonky and don't trigger every time. So you think you know what it is, try it, and then it doesn't work. I just immediately go to youtube for gap specific challenges now unless it's a gap I'm absolutely sure I know.
THPS HD had the gaps marked on the map of the level. I was surprised they didn't include either the levels map or the gaps location in this.
Just wait until 3HD comes out and half of the gaps are just "Look ma, no skill!" "Nice save, cheater" "Don't look down!"

You can cheese it. As long as you jump before manual and grind tricks appear on the list, it counts toward Forbidden connectors.

These are worth so much XP and not too hard to do. The one for Skate Heaven gave me fits but other than that easy enough.
Would love to see you do the Hard Get theres. Iv only got the bullring left but interested to see your take on some of the lines!
Yes please! The forbidden connectors are fairly easily, especially compared to some of the get theres. School 2 took me about 10-20 hours of gameplay :O I'm stuck on Bullring and Venice
@@m4tthumphrey exactly the two im stuck on along with skate heaven's. School 2 also took me about 10+ hrs to do. I'd get to the last rail and my balance meter has no chance. I felt like I won the lottery when I completed it.
you can do the hard get there’s with mods enabled btw (i didn’t know til i finished them all...)

Jeez, you make it look so easy. I don’t know half the moves you are doing like the one foot manual and all the grabs in the warehouse like the laser flip or something like that and how do you keep hopping with those?. Do you have a clip that covers the best moves to select for your skater? Also how do you keep switching grindtricks without having to jump??
one foot manuals: circle, then triangle while manualing
laser flips: do you a varial heelflip but hit fliptrick button twice instead of once

switching grinds: square, triangle, or circle, then square, triangle, or circle while grinding

How the hell do u hold grinds/manuals/lip tricks that long? I struggle with this so bad.

The wind tunnel one seems so easy, but for some reason my lip balance is shit even though its maxed out
It was difficult. Equip a special lip trick and throw in a ghetto bird for after you revert out and it should be much easier.
You can do a special trick or something else at the other side of the wind channel, revert, do a manual and then do the lip tricks. The way is so short that in a lot of tries the game doesn’t count the manual.

I could not for the life of me get the Airs gap. Its just pushes me out of the map
Does wallride count as grind trick? I remember a challenge in school 2 that needs a grind, I did a wallride and counted as grind

I thought i needed 130.000 in Skate Park. Was kinda bummed out when i bailed at 120.000 and then realized i only needed 100.000
Why does this game CONSTANTLY describes challenges to gaps that literally don't exist? There is no "Wind Tunnel" gap, there is only "Wind Tunnel Back Wall". Is it too hard to simply write the correct name? There are TONS of these, and it accomplishes nothing besides getting players confused.
What is confusing. There's only one gap with the words "wind tunnel" in it. As there is with every example of what you're talking about.
Why don't they give you any XP?
