Some pro tips: - Hold down the ollie button while in manual to maintain speed - Press double down on D-pad + bumper to instantly turn around - Practice individual pieces of the full line to get a good feel of what to do - Start the map in Free Skate to work on these without a timer - If you're getting frustrated with doing the same line over and over, try doing variations of the line to stay fresh and focused. Just a heads up for everyone. The Roswell one has been patched to make it the lower deck instead of the mega one. I've spent 3 hours trying to do the one in the video, finally did it only for the challenge to remain unchecked. then I saw its been changed. DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!
I just got the roswell one, and it only took me 3 hours. Some things to note: 1 Use the D pad to boneless so you don't accidentally turn yourself. Even a little bit will mess you up, 2 you need a perfect boneless, wallplant ABOVE the fence, and then acid drop LATE. if you go through the lip of the ramp to acid drop, you lost too much speed. 3 this is way easier to do from the back side. Do the transfer and then go for the Rollin channel gap. Unless you're really good at holding a manual.
Would you hate me if I told you I did it on my 3rd attempt? Lol. I probably got a little lucky though because after I got it, I tried it again a few times and couldn't replicate it. It's tough.
@@KaviDGaming after I did it, my buddy showed up and I was explaining how difficult of a trick I just pulled off so I went to show how the transfer is borderline impossible and got it first try and finished off the entire combo perfectly. Almost pissed me off.
Hold r2 when you're halfway over the gap(this helps the acid drop trigger), be ready to react to when you're skaters posture appears to change so you are ready for the revert. It will still be a few attempts but it's doable.
I couldn’t get the high deck gap to save my life using my max stat custom character. Saw a comment on another vid saying they had better luck with Alien so I gave it a shot. For Roswell, after getting the Rollin Gap and grinding around the QP, you can wallride before manualling into the alien chamber thing. I found that wallriding and jumping got me more speed to manual all the way through the chamber.

A tip for those stuck on Roswell, sometimes the high deck gap triggers without actually going ramp to ramp. Sometimes you will boneless really far and trigger the gap for a split second. DO THIS -> After every boneless trigger a manual in case you get the high deck and then quickly manual again onto the ground (holding A for speed) and go to the rolling channel gap from there, i got this 2nd time with this method after trying for ages and have now done it for me and my friend using my method!!!!!!!!
Thanks so much for the guide! For whatever reason I was able to land the one in Roswell on my 1st attempt (well 1st after I finally got the first gap...) but I spent about 20 minutes trying to get Burnside. Onto pro skater 2!
Great guide. I honestly don’t think these are particularly that difficult. By far the most frustrating thing for me was getting the gaps to actually register!
*I did the Roswell one yesterday. I find it WAY easier if you do the Roll-In gap last by doing the High Deck jump towards the alien corridor. You can gain enough speed by doing a super short grind on the coping of the HP and jumping almost directly into the sliding door with a manual. This preserves a lot of grind balance for the Grey Grind gap. Hope it helps!*
You have to get some speed and boneless out a little late. And it worked for me when I was holding up on the d-pad while in the air until landing. Dunno if that actually makes a difference or not. Can also RUclips Roswell All Gaps. That’s how I noticed one guy seemingly boneless out a little delayed after leaving the ramp
For Roswell we’re those white marks are on the ramp try to time the boneless press up on the first mark then up again on the second then jump when you hit the top I’ve started doing that and it help a bit more
Great Guide! Just to note I spent maybe 12 hours on roswell one finally got it only to realise it has been changed to now 'lower deck' making it 1000 times easier!!! Got it first try and wasted 12 hours on a challenge that no longer exists lol
I completed the entire combo 4 time’s before the last gap finally counted. It sure adds to the frustration knowing you did it but getting robbed at the very end.
Roswell tip: hit the wall plant in switch so you end up in your regular stance. Your skaters stats are best in your normal stance. Once I did that combine with boneless timing I got it in about 15 minutes. Yesterday I tried for an hour not considering switch stance. On to THPS 2 get theres. 🙌🏽 May get my first platinum from one of my favorite childhood games 🥰🤗
I did every get there already. I just came to see the lines you took. The downhill jam one certainly suprised me. I did the not so fun teleport approach
For anyone wondering, it looks like they changed the "High Deck Gap" to the easier "Low Deck Gap" to get Roswell. I followed the guide and was completing it with the former several times but wasn't getting the challenge... Eventually realized they had changed it up....
These are going to be tough, but I've made it this far so I think it can be done. Biggest problem for me is remembering the gap names and locations. It's like remembering people's names and I can't do that lol
This goes to show how practice is the only way to get better at this game. I first played the series 8 years ago and stopped playing in 2015 when i got a PS4. I bought thps1+2 about a month ago and tried the hard get there for school and I couldn’t do it. A month later and I got it second try
That triple gap was tricky on its own, I was afraid when I had to do it in a combo but I also got it 2nd try. Sometimes it's the simple things that are hardest to do. Like bonelessing over an impossible transfer gap.
For people having trouble with the mall get there, if the last gap jump is annoying u and cant land it, wall plant off the area above u when your flying in mid air towards the end. Trust me it's easier
thank you so much, i m so into gettn 100% in the game, but some achieves are so hidden. this helps so much. still will take some time to get all of this, but its worth it. best game in years
Fierce Deity Andrew many mechanics in this game that are just glitchy and inconsistent and just aren't fun to do over and over again because you know that the gaps you are attempting are just easy it's the fact it won't physically let you do it for some unknown reasons that baffles me with stress
Just to let everyone know the last hard get there gap in Roswell they have changed it istead of the high deck its now the low deck you have to do and everything else is the same
I found the first wallplant wasn't totally necessary if you have your special meter up for Roswell- still a mega pain in the ass to just get that first one to even proc- 2nd time i actually got it to proc i got the whole thing- thanks for the guide!
I've completed all the TH1 challenges. The only one missing is Roswell. Tried almost 5 hours today and got only 3 jumps. I tried really hard. No way I will try this shit glitched jump again.
I got all of them in Pro Skater 1 and I got the One in Streets on my 1st Try They Change the Patch in Roswell from high deck gap to low deck gap The Mall One is a Pain in my Ass
Found a tip off another vid that worked for me straight away on the Roswell gap after I was on it for an hour. When you hit the boneless off the ramp, spam the transfer button. It seems to glitch you forward into a transfer motion and you can easily set up the revert for the rest of the line.
@@michaelarojas I think you have to grind the rail before the first stairs. "Coffee"... something... To get enough speed to make the jump later on. I just nailed Mall but it took me like 4-5 hrs... lol.
For me school 2 was the hardest, the only hard bit on the bullring was jumping onto the banana curve and roswell honestly wasn’t that bad took about 4 to 5 times
So I completed roswell 4x with the big gap and it wouldn't complete it for me so checked the description and it said do it with the low gap tries first time doing it with the low gap and completed it and it checked it off might be same for you guys
Not sure if I’m crazy but I just did Roswell 3rd try... I looked and it says “low deck” not “high deck” Figured I’d share this info since everyone seems to be struggling
I’m having trouble getting the over the box gap, it’s really hard for me to turn. Even when I manage to trigger the box gap he goes so slow barely making the wall gap jr and after the pool grind the cursor is so close to an edge that it’ll just land before the transfer. Idk what you guys play on but I’m on console ps4. When I turn doing a manual he either bails or lands the manual also
I don’t know if I’ll ever pick this game up but this looks insane. I figured when you were talking about “get there’s” it would just be reaching certain areas, not stupid challenging combos. Would anyone suggest getting this game if I’ve never played a Tony Hawk game before (outside of maybe once as a kid)?
If you like skate games or arcade games i highly recommend this one. The challenge he's doing is only for "hardcore" gamers or the ones who are willing to do stuff over and over again till they complete it (like me). The game overall is great and very beginner-friendly. In my opinion it's one of the best remakes and a must have. I wish you a nice day.
honestly relieved to hear mall is the hardest. took me about four attempts but, id say the easiest method is using TONS of manuals until the bottom of the escalator and just grinding it out past the atrium other than manualing toward the end. kinda confusing but it worked for me.
It took me probably 200 attempts to pull off the Roswell gap by itself, so you can imagine how I felt after learning I'll have to work that gap into a combo with other gaps.
@@richardsityarquiambao3821 I pulled off the Roswell challenge a little bit ago and thankfully the High Deck is the worst part of it. It's a pain to pull that gap off, but once you get it the rest of the gaps are straightforward and easy to string together.
One in every TEN times!? Lucky you... concerning me, it is more like one in every 500 times... frustrating as hell... then I f*** up the grind at the end... there's GOTTA be a hint, how to do it without relying on pure luck... but I guess that's what it's up to (-_-)
The skate park was the hardest one for me in the THPS 1. But mainly cause I took in unnecessarily hard line at it. Still a million times easier the what the 2nd game had in store.
The key to the high deck gap is to boneless really late, like really late..... now gotta work on the revert timing and I might be able to get this gap combo.....
Daaamn, this is hella crazy haha i only got 2 trophies left.. "all get theres" and "lvl 100" I felt the pain for myself just watching this video..cuz im stuck on the "mall get there" so im only on beginning 😅😅😅
I need advice on the Roswell High Deck Gap. I'm using Officer Dick. So max stats. This is the only Get There I need for 100%. I've been trying to get this for almost 4 hours now. I can get the gap to trigger but I almost always hit the edge of the deck and it pops me out of the combo. If only the deck was just a bit shorter I could make it. I'm holding up, I'm doing a boneless, I'm acid bombing off the high fence. Nothing seems to work. You make it look so easy in the video above.
Mall easier than you say it is... haha // also you can go up on that last “platform” (instead of down like you mention) before doing the huge wallride...
Ok downhill jam, I actually did the first grind, hit the jump, and went all the way back through to the top of the level to do the last grind. I wish I’d thought of just grinding up lol
Got almost everything in a few tries, but this High Deci gap is still a nightmare. Even if I’m able to get the gap, I’m too bad to do the rest of the combo (that I can do easily without the first one)
I’ve beat all, except Roswell.. Tried it at least 50 times.. Can’t even stick the wall-plant. Only a couple of these took less than a half hour but this Roswell one is looking like I won’t complete the challenge entirely. 🤣
Iv been stuck on roswell now about 3 hours. Annoying thing is I made it round 99% of the way and messed up the last jump and now i cant make it again. When I watch vids is like people are going 10% faster than me. Iv tried from 3 different sides and the distance is just crazy.
I FEEL LIKE THE BIGGEST IDIOT: On streets I didnt know that door can open so after backwoods ledge i would jump through the window, land on the spiral, grind it up, wallplant and then grind it down.... Yeah I dont deserve any better I guess.
FOR ANYONE STRUGGLING WITH ROSWELL: If this method is not working for you, use the starter ramp as a boost instead, and do a boneless right as you leave the vert to reach the other side. With the method in the video I only cleared the gap once in an hour, with the one I mentioned i've cleared it around 6 times in 15 minutes. Update: Just got it, it took a little under 20 mins of trying, highly suggest anyone having trouble to try this method!

Someone else must of did these trophies for you. This shit is impossible
How do you hold the grind for so long..How can i work the meter
I swear the first grind in downhill decides if you get the gap based on how it feels about you as a person.
For real though
Just got it, if it wasn’t for the gap not registering that would have been a really easy one
Haha, it only seemed to register for me if I grinded from the very start of the ledge.
You gotta grind at least half of it before you add any more tricks to pick up speed. That’s what I found after like a half hour of trying.
It only counts if you hit it from the very tip of the lip.
PRO TIP: Using Free Skate works with gap combos. No timer , as many tries as you want!!

On to THPS 2 get theres. 🙌🏽 May get my first platinum from one of my favorite childhood games 🥰🤗
I did every get there already. I just came to see the lines you took. The downhill jam one certainly suprised me. I did the not so fun teleport approach
Do you mean you went all the way down to the finish line then came back down again?
@@DANYALLAYNAD yes exactly that.
For anyone wondering, it looks like they changed the "High Deck Gap" to the easier "Low Deck Gap" to get Roswell. I followed the guide and was completing it with the former several times but wasn't getting the challenge... Eventually realized they had changed it up....
Oh yeah thx I noticed because after 3hours of hard tryin I finally did it with high deck and it didn't worked ... So yeah thx... Ahah
the elevator gap was a pain in the ass, also the over the box one on skate park. I got through them both but this roswell transfer is ridiculous.
Got mall my very first go, then struggled like mad on burnside and ended up lowering my stats to get the triple rail haha.
These look really hard but after getting every individual gap, i still think the "Spine Gap" in "Streets" is the hardest thing ever.
I couldn’t get that one either until I saw a video where they jumped across the planters near the Pagoda gap that made it possible
thank you so much, i m so into gettn 100% in the game, but some achieves are so hidden. this helps so much. still will take some time to get all of this, but its worth it. best game in years
They really need to make a patch for this, some gaps trigger inconsistently.
Fierce Deity Andrew many mechanics in this game that are just glitchy and inconsistent and just aren't fun to do over and over again because you know that the gaps you are attempting are just easy it's the fact it won't physically let you do it for some unknown reasons that baffles me with stress
Especially on Downhill
I did the hard get there in the mall 4 times before the last gap finally counted. It took what should have been 20 minutes into over an hour.
finn5100 and some gaps like Roswell and School 2 are luck based. Sometimes it seems like your Manuel drops so fast at random times.
The Downhill one and the Roswell long jump. Must have a patch for these two pain in the ass.
Just to let everyone know the last hard get there gap in Roswell they have changed it istead of the high deck its now the low deck you have to do and everything else is the same
Omg thank you so much. I finished the hard one 3 times and still didn't get an achievement
This game really making me work for these trophies I have 6 left too get and I’m starting too get exhausted
I found the first wallplant wasn't totally necessary if you have your special meter up for Roswell- still a mega pain in the ass to just get that first one to even proc- 2nd time i actually got it to proc i got the whole thing- thanks for the guide!
Use the momentum and go up and turn on the rollin ramp in roswell and hit the ramp straight with the boneless it really helps
Roswell is easily the hardest out of thps1. The opening feels so luck based
The only one thats really frustrating for me is downtown, had to walk away a few times haha.
I've completed all the TH1 challenges. The only one missing is Roswell. Tried almost 5 hours today and got only 3 jumps. I tried really hard. No way I will try this shit glitched jump again.
That 100% is gonna hinge on Roswell and Mall for me.
Im so excited to test my skills with these
Thanks man. Only ones that gave me trouble were the mall and downhill jam. Hope to see part 2!
I was lucky to get The Downhill going uphill
Manuals don’t always work for me, so I probably will be stuck on this for awhile
I got all of them in Pro Skater 1 and
I got the One in Streets on my 1st Try They Change the Patch in Roswell from high deck gap to low deck gap
The Mall One is a Pain in my Ass
finally did Roswell , onto part 2 . Thanks Maka
Found a tip off another vid that worked for me straight away on the Roswell gap after I was on it for an hour.
When you hit the boneless off the ramp, spam the transfer button. It seems to glitch you forward into a transfer motion and you can easily set up the revert for the rest of the line.
this sounded dumb to me but i tried it and it WORKED LMAOO. even if u think u wont make the jump SPAM THE TRANSFER BUTTON
How exactly do you the second stair jump on Mall? The Escalator Gap.
Grind before to get more speed
I’m having the same problem
@@michaelarojas I think you have to grind the rail before the first stairs. "Coffee"... something... To get enough speed to make the jump later on. I just nailed Mall but it took me like 4-5 hrs... lol.
This is a extreme helpful video, thank you very much for editing!!! Cant wait for the next one
For me school 2 was the hardest, the only hard bit on the bullring was jumping onto the banana curve and roswell honestly wasn’t that bad took about 4 to 5 times
Already did these on my own and I'm so mad I didn't look at this first 😫
Took me forever but I got some nice highlights
I wish you could use the set restart position like they had in later games
So I completed roswell 4x with the big gap and it wouldn't complete it for me so checked the description and it said do it with the low gap tries first time doing it with the low gap and completed it and it checked it off might be same for you guys
I just realized that if you hold X right before and during your manual, you go a lot faster lol
Not sure if I’m crazy but I just did Roswell 3rd try... I looked and it says “low deck” not “high deck”
Figured I’d share this info since everyone seems to be struggling
I’m having trouble getting the over the box gap, it’s really hard for me to turn. Even when I manage to trigger the box gap he goes so slow barely making the wall gap jr and after the pool grind the cursor is so close to an edge that it’ll just land before the transfer. Idk what you guys play on but I’m on console ps4. When I turn doing a manual he either bails or lands the manual also
yes omg i really struggled with that one because i was having the same issue. i definitely disagree with him saying that it wasn’t so bad lol
So much for me getting platinum, I just hit 85% after being stuck on skate heaven for 30 years to complete the gap trophy.
I just got Roswell! You have to Boneless into the wallplant too and you have to really make sure you get an Acid Bomb instead of an Acid Drop.
I finally completed them all ( for thps 1 ) I literally spent 3 hours on this shit, and I finally got Roswell done, what a fucking relief...
So I hadn't played tony hawk in almost a decade.
Completely forgot you had to hold ollie while manualing to maintain speed XD
Really?
@@darkcut2056 yup, maintains speed
OH MY FUCKING GOD!!!!!!!!!!!
“This one is a pain in the ass” 😂
Lol I did the teleporter gap on dog will in one direction. Took me for ever, wish I saw this first!!
On the Roswell one it looks like they updated it and you don’t have to do the high deck gap but the low one instead. It’s easier
honestly relieved to hear mall is the hardest. took me about four attempts but, id say the easiest method is using TONS of manuals until the bottom of the escalator and just grinding it out past the atrium other than manualing toward the end. kinda confusing but it worked for me.
I think it’s the 4th hardest behind Bullring, School II, and maybe Venice?
I haven't been able to do mall or roswell. That big gap on Roswell just seems broken.
It took me probably 200 attempts to pull off the Roswell gap by itself, so you can imagine how I felt after learning I'll have to work that gap into a combo with other gaps.
@@UnhallowedBlood Same for me about 200 Boneless attempts gathering speed going up then down the roll in.
@@richardsityarquiambao3821 I pulled off the Roswell challenge a little bit ago and thankfully the High Deck is the worst part of it. It's a pain to pull that gap off, but once you get it the rest of the gaps are straightforward and easy to string together.
Just a tip but if you're really struggling with some of these, some allow you to use mods for completion.
Less than half an hour later it's done! I used the alien.....
Daaamn, this is hella crazy haha i only got 2 trophies left.. "all get theres" and "lvl 100"
I felt the pain for myself just watching this video..cuz im stuck on the "mall get there" so im only on beginning 😅😅😅
I found the Roswell gap easier from the other side. Thats how I got the challenge. Took me about 20 minutes.
Hold r2 when halfway over the gap to help trigger the acid drop, It makes this so much easier. Don't forget to press it again for the revert.
Mall easier than you say it is... haha // also you can go up on that last “platform” (instead of down like you mention) before doing the huge wallride...
Im on vacation right now going home friday and i cant wait to play this. I used to be good so im curious to see if its hard
updates?
we need updates
Ok downhill jam, I actually did the first grind, hit the jump, and went all the way back through to the top of the level to do the last grind. I wish I’d thought of just grinding up lol
You’re a lucky son of a bitch!
Dude do you know how i can get the tape in downhill jam it keeps disappearing when i get close
Tell me why I did the Roswell line in this video 3 damn times, before realizing they changed the gaps you have to hit...
Now Roswell has 2 hard get theres and neither of them have the high deck gap anymore
Iv been stuck on roswell now about 3 hours. Annoying thing is I made it round 99% of the way and messed up the last jump and now i cant make it again. When I watch vids is like people are going 10% faster than me. Iv tried from 3 different sides and the distance is just crazy.
Oh...I did Downhill Jam the actually hard way. I wish I knew this beforehand.
I have to do the high deck gap again. Great.
I FEEL LIKE THE BIGGEST IDIOT: On streets I didnt know that door can open so after backwoods ledge i would jump through the window, land on the spiral, grind it up, wallplant and then grind it down.... Yeah I dont deserve any better I guess.
FOR ANYONE STRUGGLING WITH ROSWELL:
If this method is not working for you, use the starter ramp as a boost instead, and do a boneless right as you leave the vert to reach the other side. With the method in the video I only cleared the gap once in an hour, with the one I mentioned i've cleared it around 6 times in 15 minutes.
Update: Just got it, it took a little under 20 mins of trying, highly suggest anyone having trouble to try this method!
