I had a fleet of Seac warmdry suits in rentals once. The poor neoprene quality really showed after a short time and seams, especially in the crotch, started to leak. It was a constant patch process and really an eye opener for me how neoprene quality makes all the difference if you want something to last 100+ dives. Best go with high quality neoprene like Yamamoto if you want neoprene.

I have the Warmdry from Seac. I hated the neoprene seals. Constant leaks. Just had the seals replaced with silicone seals and it was worth every penny. Love my suit now.

I have a Bare Tri Lam Tech Dry, with integrated tech boots, x-large pocket on right leg, P valve, Si Tech Dry gloves, latex seals. I did my OW in my own drysuit.

Me, and a lot of people from our dive club use the relatively unknown TopStar dry suits.
Tailor made for a really sharp price.
Twin shell, 5mm neoprene with a strong second layer.
Never had a single drop of water inside, which is quite rare nowadays

Still recommend the E.Motion+ over the E.Lite+ for 99.9% of people since the perfect fit is just easier to accomplish since the material is just a bit more flexible and forgiving especially with the 1-2cm possible difference due to weight gain. Ather than that the E.Lite is pretty much overkill for non cave divers.
Also are there any valid arguments for the D1X for tec divers versus the other established drysuit brands.

@@johnnybattiste2164 I purchased a D1X a few months ago as a back up because my Fusion Bullet was in the shop again. I have approx 20 dives in it. I need about 8 lbs more than my fusion to feel comfortable. Everyone will vary depending on set up, tanks, and individual bio-prene but more lead is def needed.
The flip side to that is you don’t need nearly as many or as think of undergarments with the D1X than you would with other suits. I dove in 40 deg water over the weekend without feeling cold. Spent approx 2.5 hours total under water. Again, everyone is diff and tolerance to cold is not always the same but definitely makes a difference.
Bit of a learning curve when you get started. That bubble feels like no other suit I’ve ever used. Once you learn to dive it, you won’t go back, when diving in really cold water anyway.

    Hello SimplyScuba!
I use the Expedition SE of the manufacturer ScubaForce, Germany. He, the drysuit, has all the functions I'm looking for. For example changeable cuffs on the neck and on the arms. Stitched boots with velcro on the ankles. In addition, it is very robust in stressed areas of Kevlar. And he sits without adaptation! I also tried the D1X at the biggest water sports fair - The Boot in Düsseldorf. This suit is actually made only for people of special stature.
    p.s. i like your videos!
How about a video about the different glove and cuff systems?
    Greetings from germany!
