Your thoughts and experience were conveyed well. Thank you. If you do another, please drop the volume of, or eliminate, the background music. Also you want the light hitting your face and the product. The window backlighting you and the radio is killing the light and contrast.
Interesting to hear your thoughts on this as i have the same flysky transmitter currently and im currently looking into other systems as i want to start getting into club racing
It depends on which FlySky Tx you have, I have the cheaper GT3 Tx and it was great until I raced. I realised just how bad it was. Some higher end Flysky Tx are awesome. I can only give you my opinion on the Sanwa TX. As it happens I raced last night on an indoor carpet club with my LMP12, and after chatting to a few people I understood some of the settings which I mentioned in the video I was less knowledgeable about. To be honest once you get a "good" Tx with racing in mind they pretty much all have the same features, just worded different in some cases. This Transmitter has certainly improved my racing, but understanding your Tx, and it's settings is just as important.
@@racing393 Thanks for taking to time to reply. I have the same GT3 TX, it's fine for bashing around in fields. I'll probably give it a go at first anyway as I've never raced before anyway so I expect the radio gear will be the least of my problems. Once I know it's something I enjoy I'll and can get round the track I'll look at upgrading then 👍
@@andrewsmithsonianizm6939 wow, so do you think it was a faulty unit? I use this TX for most of my cars, are you planning on getting a replacement or g a different route?

Good review, I agree that the receivers are way over priced
I just got one of these and I cant get my vehicle to engage reverse. I checked my esc and it is set for forward/brake/reverse. Any suggestions
What’s happening when you go to reverse? Any sound ? Is it not the ESC calibration rather than the TX?
@@racing393 I checked the esc calibration and it's set correctly. Amain hobby and Sanwa had no solutions so I returned it.

Dasmicro do knock off recievers for fh5 about £30
What's the score with the batteries? Is it only 4 x AA or can I have a pack plugged in?
It has a normal servo type connector with a AA battery holder, if you can find a battery pack flat enough it will fit
that flysky radio is one of the shiittest in modern rc history. So anthing else would be better !
@@markusgutendorff2684 for racing yes! Just for driving around an old airfield they are ok
