    Just a tip: maybe you don’t have to have so short reins, and maybe be careful and don’t pull the reins so hard.😊 sorry if I spelled something wrong or anything like that. ❤️love your vids😍👊😌

    You look great! Maybe loosen your grip on the reins and don’t “lock” your body so much. I know you are still fearful after the incident but you should try to relax a little bit more and trust in him. You are doing amazing!!!! 🥺♥️

    that is really good for not have jumped a lot! i know you are nervous but in every equestrians life you are going to have tough falls i have a 5 year old mare and she is really green and needs a lot of training so i have had a lot of bad falls! but if your scared then your horse knows that so it get nervous that's why when you were going to the jump he was throwing his head up cuz your reins were really tight so if you just let them go a little and spend a lot of time with your horse he will really appraite it and make sure the saddle fits properly and he has the right shoes on and the right grain it well make your ride a lot better love your vids!!!

    Very good but you weren’t really sitting up a bit when you jumped I know your still learning and I’m not a teacher or an equestrian I’ve never ridden a horse but I love them and know quite a bit about them but I think that’s something you should fix and relax if your tense when you trot you bounce more so relax and act like nothing is even happening eh I don’t know 😁 but good video also search all the stuff up I just said because I might be wrong

  • @daniethorne
    @daniethorne 4 года назад +1

    You bith should loosen your reins a bit because buster head is high and he should be relaxed with his head done lower amd in some parts of the video he looks to be fighting with the bit

    • @Juno.Hobby.Horsez
      @Juno.Hobby.Horsez Год назад +2

      @@sierrastableshobbyhorses9571usually the reason horses take off is because of back pain or something scaring them :) (no hate I’m still learning as well!!!❤) but you were kinda bouncing around on his back when you asked for the canter as well as balancing on the rein. If buster takes off every time you ask for canter without pulling I’d suggest getting him checked by a vet and making sure his saddle fits well!!

    It was very good for your first time back but try not to kick and pull the reins at the same time, it can give him mixed signals and will confuse him which is why he stumbled in canter and was half trotting, half catering to the jumps . Good job though :)

    Not to be mean (no hate) I would tell Sophia to have the rains first and then get on so buster doesn't move just a tip ♥️

    Just some constructive criticism from someone who has thought lessons before. So I’m “qualified” lol. Anyway I noticed your leg was really wobbly when you post. You can find some exercises online to strengthen your leg so you can keep you balance better. It will make jumping a lot easier.(especially at higher heights) it will also make it easier for your horse if you are really balanced. We want to make our horses job as easy as possible. But I do completely understand you are a novice rider, but just something to think about. Also for cantering try starting on a loose rein so he doesn’t feel contact or pressure on the rein so he doesn’t get confused. Otherwise you look really good (and so does your sister) but you know what is right for you and your horse. Anyway I hope y’all are staying healthy and safe! 🖤🖤
