I loved how it turned out. I did switched out the working cords with the filler cords when I added the second bead and it kept the length more even. Thank you for the great tutorial.

I just started macrameing and I notice there are longer cords left than others. What do you mean by filler cords, and how do you keep all your cords the same size? Thanks in advance for your reply. 🥰

@@gabrieladeuschle3596 filler cords are the two middle cords that you do the square knots and the spiral knots around. She just swapped the outer (working) cords with the inner (filler) cords. It's actually really pretty.

This was my first project and it was really easy and well explained! I had barely enough lenght for some, but some other strings were still very long. It ended up working perfectly for the size I needed tho, I even made it a bit shorter so it all worked out. Thank you! this was easy to follow

Came out great! I followed the advice on the comments and made my string a yard longer for each. I made a pretty long hanger for a decent sized pot and i did have lots of left over string. Some ranged from less than a yard to 2 yards longer that I had cut off. But it’s okay cuz I can reuse that string for other projects so I would rather cut off than have it come out too short.

What is the approximate length of the plant hanger when it is complete? About what size pot does this design hold? I've been having some issues with finding planters that work for my macrame projects so it would be nice to know this ahead of time. Thanks!
