Guessing this was the '78 championship team with Doninique and Alvis Rogers. There have been some serious players to come out of this state back in the day.
this was 1979 Champ game at UNC. 1978 Game was played at Durham High in Durham. This video was when Alvis was playing at Wake Forest, and finished as runner up ACC ROY to Buck WIlliams.

I was at the game with my parents and sister and the late Troy French. We were the Rockingham County Cougars! We lost of course to Dominique. At the end of the game when he was being interviewed I shot him the bird and he saw me and his jaw dropped 😂😂 I was 8
