    Thank you for an amazing review, especially going into the child's view. This has been the most helpful & informative review that we've been looking for!
    Question on the Comfort v the Comfort Pro: Does the weight listed for the Pro include the extra bag, and if so, what is the weight without it? We like the fact the sunshade is integrated as we like in a very sunny year around climate, however like the weight of the Comfort vs the Pro. Thank you for the additional video showing how to stow the sunshade on the Comfort. -Cheers

      Thanks for the lovely comments. Glad you found the review helpful! The weight of the carrier (3550g) doesn’t include the weight of the additional front pack, although that pack is very light weight. You can choose whether or not you want to bring that with you depending on need. From experience, we only ever used it when we had a lot of stuff to carry. Most of the time it stayed at home, but when we needed it we found it a great addition.

    Thank you so much for this review!! This was very helpful for helping us decide on what to use to get our little guy into nature. Do you think the updated version is worth the money instead of a used Kid Comfort 2? Thanks again!

    • @LittleAdventureShop
      @LittleAdventureShop  2 года назад

      Hi there, good question. It kind of depends on how much your paying for a second hand KC 2!
      The main differences between the old KC2 and the current Kid Comfort (lack of name change is confusing!) is that the back system on the new model has:
      1) More mesh so it's more breathable - better in hot weather
      2) It's easier to adjust - not a big deal unless you are chopping and changing between people to carry
      3) Brings the centre of gravity slightly closer into the adult so it should be a little easier to carry - you'll appreciate this more as your child grows.
      Hope this helps.

    Awesome video thank you! A question regarding the feet straps, you make a really short remark on them 'you either hate them or love them'. Do you think it's necessary for baby's to have something to keep their feet in so that there hips stay in a healthy position and the blood circulation isn't hindered?

    • @LittleAdventureShop
      @LittleAdventureShop  11 месяцев назад +1

      Hi, yes the foot straps... they can be great if your child is happy to have their feet in them, they work well when your baby is asleep. My experience with older children was they like to push down and kind of bounce up and down which made walking quite tricky at times - hence my comment!

    Could I ask what’s the difference between this and the Deuter kid carrier 2? Have they just changed the name but same product?

    • @LittleAdventureShop
      @LittleAdventureShop  2 года назад +1

      Hi there. A couple of years ago, Deuter changed the naming of the Kid Comfort carriers, so instead of going from 'Kid Comfort 2' to 'Kid Comfort 3', they just dropped the number. The new carrier is just called the 'Kid Comfort' now. They have made a few minor tweaks over the last couple of years, but it's essentially an updated version of the Kid Comfort 2. Hope that helps! Do give us a call if you'd like any further information.

    Q1 Would you say the Deuter KC/KC Pro collapse as much as the Kelty Signature/Elite? Those seem like they can collapse into a normal hiking backpack when you aren't carrying your kid around.
    Q2 From a comfort perspective, the back and structure and waist fins of the KC/KC Pro look more comfortable and ventilated than the Kelty Signature/Elite, would you say that is true and the KC/KC Pro are more comfortable that the Kelty Signature/Elite? If it is true my final question is:
    Q3 I travel a lot on planes so being able to potentially collapse the backpack down is convenient from the perspective of checking the bag and traveling with it in taxis, etc. but comfort is obviously very important as well so I'm trying to assess from a collapsibility standpoint is it a big enough difference to trade the collapsible functionality for the improved comfort (assuming it is more comfortable)? What would your opinion be on this?

    • @LittleAdventureShop
      @LittleAdventureShop  Год назад +1

      Hi, Ok I'll try and answer your questions but don't have too much experience with the Kelty range so may be a little vague at points.
      KC pro is considerably larger than the KC so I wouldn't chose the Pro if you are travelling a lot. I found the Deuter more comfortable than the Kelty I tried, but I haven't seen much of the Kelty range. In terms of collapsing down - taking the Pro out of the equation as it is considerably bigger - they are all fairly similar in that they collapse a bit but the are still bulky. If I were you I would look at the Deuter KC carrier but get the Osprey baby carrier bag to use when travelling by plane (it fits fine).
      Hope this helps!

    Does the sun roof fit in any of the pockets on the carrier, or do you have to store it in a separate bag? Thank you!

    • @LittleAdventureShop
      @LittleAdventureShop  3 года назад +2

      Hi, the sun roof fits in the under seat compartment. You can cross the pole sections of the canopy over each other and then flip the canopy down - a bit like closing a pop up tent - to make a kind of figure of eight, the canopy then easily fits inside the compartment. Good question - thanks - we should do another video to demo this!

    Does this carrier have the ability to have a water bladder? If so where would it go?

    • @LittleAdventureShop
      @LittleAdventureShop  2 года назад +1

      Hi, thanks for the question. Yes the carrier is compatible with a hydration bladder. We forgot to highlight this in the video! Just behind the back system is a (well hidden) zipped pouch the hydration bladder slides in here and the hose comes out on the other side, over your right shoulder.

    What is the difference between Deuter Kid Comfort standard and Deuter Kid Comfort 3?

    • @LittleAdventureShop
      @LittleAdventureShop  2 года назад +1

      Hi there, the Deuter Kid Comfort 3 is the old name for what is now the Deuter Kid Comfort Pro. If you have a look at the video we've made for the Kid Comfort vs Kid Comfort Pro it will give you a good idea of the differences.

    I see so many review videos that don't contain any actual children (stuff animals do not approximate!). Part of what I'm looking for is something that's easy to use when I don't have my partner around to help. I need to see demos of someone putting the child in the thing then putting in on their back. Please!

    • @LittleAdventureShop
      @LittleAdventureShop  2 года назад

      Thanks for watching. We'd love to feature more children in our videos, but sometimes that can be a challenge, so we have to make do with explaining the features ourselves. If you'd like some help choosing, just give us a call and we can help out. We've personally used many carriers and can explain the pros and cons of each - particularly which carriers are easiest to use when on your own. I hope we can help you find the right carrier!

    Can anyone comment on whether it is possible to use it alone? Is it possible to get the child in and out without a second person?

    • @LittleAdventureShop
      @LittleAdventureShop  Год назад

      Hi yes, you can definitely use it on your own. I spent many hours walking with my first kid on my own. Just a couple of things: You shouldn’t leave them unattended in the carrier with the stand out and I had a method of lifting the carrier onto my thigh then getting one arm in the shoulder strap and swinging the carrier round onto my back - this took a couple of goes to get right but was very straight forward. Finally if you’re on your own pack a little vanity type mirror so you can see what is going on behind you without taking the carrier off.

    • @LittleAdventureShop

      Thanks for your comment. We've tried many times to make a video with a child in the carrier. It's really, really hard to make a good quality video with a young child who get's fed up with all the retakes, wriggles and then starts crying. So we've compromised with a thumbnail that shows the carrier in use and then a video in the studio where we can go into more detail and show clearly all the features or the carrier.
