I, #DoctorY🎤 performed this song, #YouRaiseMeUp🎶 several years ago in Orland Township’s #SeniorAmericanIdol, and Phil did it better than I did back then, and I only did it because my 92 year old dad was in the crowd.
I think there are better song choices for a song competition that would challenge vocal range, clarity, and stage presence.
This song’s lyrics are also a bit repetitive as well.
That being said, Phil is an excellent singer, and I congratulate him on his vocal achievements both past and present.
I have heard him sing and play piano at St. Catherine of Alexandria’s Sunday and School Masses.
