This is clearly a diversionary tactic by the Thargoids to draw AX pilots away from the remaining Titans. Much as I want to see the system defended I think it unwise at this time for everyone to go swooping into the ShinDez system they need to keep on at the Titans, for now let them have their victory and show that we can't be drawn away from the primary goal. ...I urge caution at this time, all is not what it appears.
Yeah, I'm on a trip of exploration between the Bubble and the core. One of the previous times the 'Goids attacked was while I was out visiting Beagle Point; I don't remember, might have been the first attack
I have, in the same spirit as Cmdr LCU NoFoolLikeOne, also taken large proactive steps in the opposite direction of this conflict - to the Temple region, trying to wake up the Guardian defences…. 😃

COUGH I just moved to Jameson two days ago when I reached Elite Trader. Luckily though, instead of just spawning at Jameson where I have left off, I was transported to the rescue ship one system over.
A permit is required for CD-43 11917 which I don't have....."Access to CD-43 11917 is permit-locked. It requires the CQC Home World Permit, which is only distributed to pilots who reach rank 50 in CQC and choose to "Prestige", which resets their rank." Like most CMDR's aren't going to have this.
I was there before the attack happened and got very confused why all the warning lights were going off. I got a real shock when I exited the station lol
Well, I'm just using my Corvette for PVE, which is all engineered in G5, but nothing special for AX combat, and at least the weakest ones I evaporate in seconds, the moderate ones resist a little but you can still fight, now the most resistant ones, well, I resist as long as I can or until I run out of shields and then I enter the station and repair, but at lease is ideally to put the caustic sinks on it for avoid a dead for caustic damage.
@@Localnimation Not really, I have seen some videos from the best-known channels such as Down to Earth Astronomy but the truth is that I am too lazy to look for the materials to unlock the AX modules 😂, so I simply took my best medium combat ship, took a risk and managed to killed some of the smaller ones (I don't remember what they are called) and I saw that they are actually not as tough as they seem, and that AX weaponry is not totally necessary. However the larger ones like the Hydra do need to at least use certain tactics since you had to scan them and aim at their "hearts", at the beginning I went blindly without the AX scanner and although it doesn't matter not having it with the weakest ones, with these is really necessary, the same as the casutic sink, but in terms of weapons, I have seen that you can go with what is normally used against human ships, in my case for AX I used my tipical PVE were I tend to use combinations of laser+kinetics, sometimes efficient pulse lasers + multi-cannons with autoloader and corrosive, or in instead of multi-cannon I use the fragmentation ones with corrosive and incendiary, anyway, I'm still a novice in AX combat, some cmdr specialist in AX could guide us better😅
Any chance you have a channel to clarify with Fdev precisely how many sinks the heatsink offered by the CG will have? 4+1 or 5+1, basically will it be better than Sirius sinks?

Rewards are a bit sus. Likely pilots already have better. The mod shards or moduiles with the AGF resistance added already would have made more sense. The cannons are pretty alright. The missile racks were not that great after I grinded for them.

Its def a typo copied from the module above, the heatsink is double capacity and increased reload time only. Theres also no engineering listed on the top module which should be High Cap & Rapid Fire like the 2nd.

looks like the CG bonds you get only in Shinrarta are not from the same faction so your 13 bil would not have counted for the CG anyways, and you would have wasted half of the payout without the powerplay bonus.
i can't do anything to help... i was in my jump ship at the time and the ship yard is down so i cant even leave the station. its swish cheese before i get to hyper. this update has stopped me from playing
Not having hit Elite status yet, I don't have access on the regular. Will my temp access be revoked after the conflict? if so then this is not my fight. I have no vested interest in a system I have no stake in. I have no access to ships or modules there, I have no ships stored there obviously. so other than some modules I will most likely never use after the war is over I see no reason to risk my assets. From what I've seen the elite pilots we have are doing a bang up job of dealing with the Thargoid just fine without me. I'm just a lowly casual player, but a big time fan of the game, It's one of three games that I play, and no SC isn't one of them LOL I wish you all the best.

Qusestion. I consider myself a mediocre combat pilot and lousy Thargoid killer. But im willing to fairy as many people from that station as possible. Now that you know my skillset, is there a realistic chance that i can contribute?

I was trying to have fun killing thargoids helping the cause but as usual the damn gankers thought it would be fun to pick off AX ships, FDev should balance this out with the system authority, everytime a wanted cmdr enters a controlled system they should be interdicted immediately by the authority and sent a detention center or destroyed is they do not comply. System authority should be many times more powerful than the best engineered ship. I'm not against ganking but the should only be safe in anarchy zones. Otherwise controlled systems have no law and order. I had to play in a private server but I prefer the open.
@MistedMind the "Pilots federation" are the traitors. Galnet is literally using the guardian network to transfer data instantly and cmdrs are half guardian. We are not allowed on earth like worlds because we aren't human and can't survive on them.

Yes, if you have a ship,at least 2 hardpoints, and you know how to use gimball weapons, you can always contribute!
