  • Brandon is a Toyota technician with years of automotive experience behind him. Having worked for GM, Hyundai, Kia, and other makes, he is incredibly well rounded and very accomplished. I loved seeing tools that he got from his father as well as the tools he received being a father himself. Nothing beats the sentiment you get from knowing the tools came from someone special. Brandon is quite the busy individual, so I’m so grateful he took the time out of his day to show off his tools and box(es). Thank you Brandon! If you enjoyed Brandon’s tour, give him a Like!

Most people don’t appreciate how much time it takes to put a good video together as you’re doing. Adding the manufactures part numbers and pricing makes it very informative.

    Got that bent one he called the “ignition ratchet”
    Dismantled the hinge an swapped the head the other way years ago, works great, pretty much my “go too”
    I’ve flipped it the other way once to access a strange angle, but tools are tools, change them/cut them/bend them/ weld them/ or in this case dismantle and fix the design

    • @afG585
      @afG585 10 месяцев назад

      As long as it’s the same tool, the hinge is only held together by a bolt, and a spring and maybe ball bearing, but other designs are likely to be swappable for a mechanic.
      The other way around it gives a lot of clearance to avoid things, i’ve done a lot of suspension & wheel alignments, but due to the extra length of the tool it is my most used ratchet for a long time…. Till I recently got a straight telescopic flex head.
