The Government is seeking to get flights to send migrants to Rwanda off the ground by July, after the Safety of Rwanda (Asylum and Immigration) Act became law last month.

The hostel being shown only takes 200. The first one sent has gone missing and the hostel hasn't seen him and is locked. Rwanda is saying now that they want a "bedding in" time.

The government does not care about the money - it is our money not theirs. They are either abiding by treaties and laws with no wiggle room or they are deliberately ignoring legal ways we can mitigate the problem. If deliberate then probably because the usual suspects, for example SERCO, are making a profit from this.

If the Royal Navy had instructions to monitor the English Channel UK territorial waters they should successfully resist and turn around all illegal inflatables.
