The law of supply and demand is in full display here in the Prescott area. Retired want to move here from all of the United States with limited housing. Houses are not cheap, however the people that can afford them have money and that is the kind of people I want moving here. We don't have a Ghetto here for a reason.
You will soon thanks to youtube and all the illegals that the government are bringing by the bus loads i remember how prescot looked back in the 80s i liked it you can move but all of those towns are growing to for the worst not the better. Tell you Russia is threatening America with nuclear war to be honest i can't wait we need a reset
I was born here, and us locals are being misplaced because of this. If that's what you consider ghetto... then you're the type of people we don't want here.
They plan on building it to a mega city. Not growing in a great way. Ask them about the extreme water problem and future plans for the area, ask what happened to the pronghorn. All the grassy hills are scheduled to be covered in California style housing.
Yes, sadly the water is a big problem. I have a video planned for the future to talk about water in Arizona and our local hometown. As part of 6 generations of Prescottonians I have witnessed a lot of changes, I don't know if any town can avoid it. Thank you so much for checking out my channel and your comment. :)
They released Mexican Grey Wolves so you're seeing more wildlife in town. They are scared of the Wolves. They have no clue what they are. But the biggest reason is all the newcomers think it's ok to feed the animals. Just like my neighbor that got eaten by the bear in Groom Creek. He was feeding it.
interesting, approx. what year did your family come here? I find it very interesting that you say "Preskitt" as someone who has been here for 6 generations. @@andromeda96396 Thanks for sharing.
Sadly it's becoming that way for a lot of folks. If you're in Ash Fork anytime in the near future making the trip over to the Williams Dairy Queen for a burger is a definite to do.
you are calling it incorrectly. It is indeed PRESCOTT. Unless you are a Midwestern transplant? In which case you are saying it correctly according to them.
Thank you Andromeda this is cool!
Thanks Gabriel-vz7ml!!😁
Great concerts at the courthouse in the summer
How about internet access, cable service and cell service. Are they available and how do you get internet/cable service?

Go back to California
But you want amenities and that needs workers who need affordable housing

Enjoyed but background music is distracting.
Thanks SlapDashSnap :) I will keep that in mind for my future videos.
Prescott is too expensive for me planning to move south of Ash Fork but will likely shop in Prescott

Follow the white dots…To the Circle K (by the college)
The housing costs definitely seem overvalued there now. Don't like how the state seems to be starting to lean Left, either.

Why do you call it Preskeet and not Prescott ??? I think i now why.
Development isn’t really a pro…take it from a Californian. It’s great for a little while, until it isn’t and that happens overnight
yes, sadly, they did this to CA too. They are mid-westerners and they love "development" and "growth".
Development is not a pro here. 😢
