Tebow didn't pull out anything. First of all, USC was the best team in college football in 2008 and would have been favored by a touchdown against Florida. Half of the BCS era trophies aren't legitimate because the best team seldom won due to the lack of a playoff system.

Yeah but that was also the year where of the only two teams to finish the season undefeated NEITHER played for a national title game
Like you think UCF and Cincinnati got disrespected in todays age, in 2008 the MWC champion went 13-0, beat #3 Alabama, #7 TCU, #11 BYU, #19 Oregon State, #25 Michigan and didn’t even get ranked in the Top 5…..

    Growin' up
Gotta keep your eye on the ball
    Make it fly,

Only just 4 downs to go
    I can make it

I can climb the highest mountain
    These Broncos can't be beat
I can feel St Elmo's Fire burnin' in me
    Burnin' in me
    Just once in his life
    A man has his time
    And my time is now
    I'm comin' alive
I can hear the music playin'
I can see the banners fly
    Feel like a man again

@@youngsquad3868 You know what. It doesn’t surprise me that someone would find this “ridiculous.” The Bible says in I Corinthians 2:14, that someone who isn’t in spiritual union with God (which the Bible calls the “natural man” even though this could apply to a woman as well), isn’t able to be receptive to Godly principles, since such principles only make sense to someone walking in spiritual fellowship with God. The Bible goes on to say such principles are “foolishness” to the “natural man.”
So if your aren’t walking with God, it is to be expected that you would find Romans 8:28 “ridiculous” or “cultish.”

One thing ppl forget is religion is a form of rebellion to the system bc you're not fully on board with their beliefs. Look at how much the NFL pushes now for its masters. They didnt want Christianity as an influence. Less ppl taking their experiments.

@@B23rie well, first of all, Emory Jones would be there, and Dan Mullen was too stubborn to start Richardson, which I thought was better than Emory. Second of all, Emory and Richardson had a lot of turnovers together, but hey, it was Richardson’s first year.
Last year, Richardson got to show us how much of a freak athlete he was. Sadly, he wasn’t a good quarterback. He only had 53% completion and threw 17 touchdowns. He has a nice build, nice speed, nice movement, he even has a nice fast throwing motion, but his reads and accuracy need to be worked on. He can’t deal with pressure either.
I think he would be better off if he stayed behind for a couple more years rather than declare for the draft just so he could develop more at a college level before already going pro. I also think he should take on a role like he did in high school, like an anything or a RB/WR type role. But it makes sense that he wouldn’t want to turn down NFL money. They drafted him really high, too, so maybe they see something in him.
I wish the man success, however I wish he woulda played good at Florida. I like Dan Mullen and think he’s an offensive genius, but he got too stubborn especially against the media and he wasn’t bringing in enough high caliber recruits.

If you died TODAY, where would you be spending eternity? Have all your sins been forgiven or are you still hoping that you're a good enough person to earn a spot in heaven.
The reality is that no one can earn a spot, our sin disqualifies us. But the God news is that Jesus paid for our qualification by dying on our behalf taking the punishment that we deserved.
JESUS said, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son; that WHOEVER believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." - John 3:16
Nothing is more important than your eternal destination. Please, don't say, "When I get older I'll get right with God' or 'I'll get serious with Jesus one day when I'm ready.'
Don't wait any longer, today is the day of salvation. Get right with God today, for tomorrow very well might be too late.
We invite you to REPENT and accept that Jesus Christ is Lord of your life by praying this simple prayer out loud right now...
'Heavenly Father, I turn away from my old life and repent for my sins. I believe that Jesus came for me, that Jesus died for me and that Jesus rose again for me so that I can be forgiven and receive eternal life. I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day. Through Him and in His Name, receive the gift of eternal life. I ask you to fill me with the Holy Spirit and lead me for the rest of my life. In Jesus name - Amen.
