    Hu I don’t have any 1600s-1700s ship wreck coins but I do have a Low grade ptolemaic coin that’s clearly been under the ocean it’s given me some insight on the coin

    This is fascinating stuff! I wasn't aware of shipwreck grades. Thank you for going over this material. BTW, I'm looking for an NGC or PCGS certified Cazador 8 real. Do you have any for sale or can you recommend another dealer who might?

    Is it not that big of a deal to handle cob like this in a rough manner? I'm new to collecting these, and I'm usually a big baby with my coin collecting. Cotton gloves, only grabbing by the edge etc. Are these just hammered so poorly, handling them and dinging them together doesn't matter?
