kinda sorta.. if the probe needs to be adjusted ..take an actual accurate temp reading , compare it to the faulty reading and adjust the probe. so if actual temp is 7, but the probe reads 14, adjust the probe to 7.
Yeah the video failed to mention each manufacturer sets the controler differently. Press and hold longer and enter access code 22. Then find C1 . Hope this is helpful. You can also find the chart symbols online easily .

For the people confused, its offsetting the temp
The probe thought it was -3 degrees but it shouldve been reading 4
So he offset by 7
so to get the correct set point one needs to know what the temp is when the compressor kicks out? then use that number ?
