I am 77 years old, love Shinedown....had never heard this by Smith & Myers till yesterday when I stumbled on it while searching for a song....I simply cried....sometimes stumbles are good trips...thank you for sharing your gift

I have tried and fallen so many times. Given so little.. and given my all. I always fall.. but I'm the man that bring flowers, I'm the man that rubs feet after a hard day's work. I'm the man that let's you vent at the end of the day with an attentive ear and whatever advice I can offer. I'm a romantic Romeo. I have been listening to these guys since they first got together. I saw them live and was lucky enough to work security at the venue. After listening to Brent warm up I've always hoped for something like this! This man is one of the most UNDERRATED voices of our generation. I love this type of stripped down pure music! Kept it up guys!

I can only say if someone has a problem with the way Brent loves , it’s them , not him . Nobody can write and perform like he does without knowing how to open his heart . That’s where this music comes from . I’ve seen him in concert a few times and you get shivers down your spine. If this is about Brent and he reads this , you have the hearts of so many in your hand. That is such a good point. Both of these guys (and Eric and Barry) open themselves up for us everytime they write a song or go on stage. I love them for that as i have a hard time opening up so i really admire it when i see someone open themselves up the way these guys do.
