I use and really love both of these shoes. Right now the 1080 v14s are my daily trainers/long run/recovery shoes and the Rebels are for workouts. (With the exception of workouts/time trials right before a race when I use my carbon plated shoe).
As a fairly new runner whos first shoes were the 1080 v13, very interesting watch. Great video as always guys. I just ordered the rebel in my normal size but had to send back as too snug. Decided to go for the New balance more v5 for now but think i will get a pair of the rebels after christmas as very lightweight and seemed a versatile shoe 😊
Been considering both of these for a daily/versatile option, went for the Rebel for now as got it for half price!! But may pick up the 1080 as well soon for more easy runs
I thought you had to go half a size up in all NB? When I look on their website an 8.5 is 27.5cm in all other brands but for NB I need size 9 for same length in CM.
I definately think so. I use Rebel v4 for HM or longer runs around 4 times a week. I have run 60k with no issues in Rebel as well. That being said, it is not the fastest shoe on the market, nor the most stable shoe. I am on my 4th pair of Rebel v4 and highly reccomend them.
Great analysis, thank you! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?

I’ve considered the 1080 as my next easy day daily trainer. I’ve loved the Rebel v.3, with nearly 350 miles on it!

So what's the "rebel" for over 15kms? love the rebel but need to go further.
I stated in the past that the Invincibles were my favorite. The 1080 v14 changed my mind.

New Balance/Hoka/Adidas
UK = US - 0.5; 9UK = 9.5US = 27.5
Others
UK = US - 1; 8.5UK = 9.5US = 27.5
Both excellent shoes
Could Rebel cope with HM race distance?

I met a runner at the New York Marathon who ran sub-2:40 with Rebels.
