I got me one yesterday for 899 at Best Buy the downside is that The remote control sucks. When the lights are down you can’t see any buttons at all. It’s good that I have it connected to my 4k Apple TV
The difference for me is that today's state-of-the-art TVs display a more lifelike image than lower-tier models. Once you've grown accustomed to that greater sense of realism you notice that budget TVs tend to make things look almost computer-generated by comparison (and less satisfying to watch). I figure that if you buy a higher-priced TV with excellent picture quality and you continue to use it for several years of lasting pleasure, that investment actually becomes a good value over the long run. In my own situation I don't really have room for a large screen and that enables me to buy a top-tier 55" TV at a more affordable cost, but if you're a sports lover who wants a big TV at a low price, this LG UQ75 model can definitely give you what you need.
Thank you for your wonderful videos. We bought the LG UQ7570 for $399. At Best Buy for our bedroom and we love it. We already had purchased a LG 65 Inch Class B2 OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS 22 w/ ThinQ AI TV 4 months before for our family room at Best Buy $1400. and we don’t see a whole lot of difference? Even the Best Buy Tech that set up our LG UQ7570 and mounted on our wall said he was shocked it was not an OLED and had to look at the box it came in again. I know we are an older couple but we are so happy with both TV’s and if I had known the LG UQ 7580 had such a great picture we definitely would have bought two of these. Don’t get me wrong the OLED is very nice and has a magic remote but none of my friends and family can see a big difference in the picture quality. I did a dirty screen test on both and neither one had the dirty screen effect. I am no expert just a regular old guy, lol 😂 but I can confidently recommend both sets.
Looks like a great TV when you consider bang per buck and size. The dirty screen wasn't that bad at all and SDR looked great. You could probably up the brightness a bit and back down the contrast enhancer a click and get a lot of the shadow detail back. Would be fun to spend some time tweaking it just as good as you can and see where it ends up. Good review and folks wanting a huge TV for a budget friendly price should be happy.
The magic remote works with this tv. You just dont get the wii pointer. We had an older lg and tried it. Works perfectly. Its a shame lg did this. Also, in the tv's setting you can find the actual pointer settings which they jist disabled so you buy a higher range tv from them. Overall. If youre not coming from a newer oled or something super fancy, youll love this. This is my first 86 inch tv aswell and its so immersive. Love it.

If you had a choice between having a
*4k Tv with Dolby Vision and HDMI 2.1*
*Or one that has Dolby Vision and VRR*
*BUT NOT HDMI 2.1?*
To work with *PS5*
There's 2 TCL models here in Aus
That have these features
*It's either one or the other*
And i know theres a model above that
That has all those but i'm Not Interested
It's way above the price range
I just wanna know which one
Out of these 2 TVs is a better choice
As In Visual performance wise..?
*The one with VRR and Dolby Vision*
*But lacks HDMI 2.1*
*Or the other that has HDMI 2.1*
*With Dolby Vision But NO VRR??👍👍*
The one with HDMI 2.1 is better if you play 120fps games such as call of duty.
PS5 doesn’t support DV for games. But there are movies of course that take advantage of DV. I’d say go for the one with HDMI 2.1 anyway
HDMI 2.1 is definitely the better option for a next gen gaming system. VRR is nice and all, but being capped at 4k 60 just isn't worth it
