All the canals in Naples Florida are loaded with huge bundles of all natural Rotala Indica and it has a lot of red and green. And I recently learned it gets red from the iron rich water. So I just use pure well water also iron rich in my area. And it grow red tips about 2 to 3 inches long below that its greenish red without having to add anything. Add iron supplement if you want. This plant in the video looks just about the same as Rotala Indica.

A very good in-depth guide on Rotala H'ra, I'm surprised there's 12.8k views but the comments are just 29 at the time of this message. Thank you Jacob! From Japan.

What if I just use gravel, but I actually want that red/green ombre? Like it should still be able to grow, right? It'll still get pretty good light and nutrient dosing

I love color! Just ask my photography instructors. I'm always distracted by the bling. LOL. I've killed this plant 3 times. At first, I thought it was the supplier. NOPE! It's me! Once I finish my fish room reorganization and set up CO2 for the first time, I will reorder it. Please keep having it. :-)

Where is a good place to get a co2 tank refilled? I used to go to sports authority but they stopped doing that

Also, many of the craft beer supply stores will also do Co2 for you...

Go to welding supply or places that specialize in compressed gas. Get yourself a 5lb tank. Dont even bother with the paintball tanks. A lot of the the places that fill em are doing away with it. Plus the bigger tanks are cheaper in the long run since you dont have to get them filled as often. Most suppliers just give a new tank. I wish I had known this years ago.

All the canals in Naples Florida are loaded with huge bundles of all natural Rotala Indica and it is red and some is green. Iron rich water makes it red. Now I don't know about the species of Rotala he has but it looks pretty much the same. I have never had co2 or additives and it grows like a weed. If you use RO water then you do have to add supplements like Seachem Equilibrium.

Great Post! Do you carry Red Root Floaters? How do I email you from your web site? You web site is hard to maneuver? So you do strictly only plants?
I enjoyed watching! Thank you for sharing!

this guy wants sound like his some sort of authority in aquatic plants. You're not, absolutely no where close, lacking knowledge. Also you're off balance and contradictive all through out the video hahaaaaha
