Meaningless to compare these two talented virtuoso guitarists!... Despite having different styles, I think both of them are far far beyond very high levels and limits. One of the greatest videos on RUclips!...
Gonzalo is all about musicality. He plays from his heart and always tries to CREATE something, he is not afraid to take chances and even "miss a note" here and there. A truly unique and spontaneous player. Joscho is about shredding. The 3rd chorus of his solo was unnecessary. Gonza can hardly keep from laughing at that point - look at his face, it says "here we go again, dick measuring contest is here..." But it's not about that guys, trust me.
My God/ Joscho just WASTED Gonzalo! The guy is seriously brilliant, soulful, technical, whimsical---NO contest. Just sit up and learn what you can......
I kinda feel that Joscho his play is technically so insane, but it lacks emotion, the timing is always too perfect for my liking. Gonzalo plays arguably less difficult lines, but there is more swing to it imo.
Interesting points of view. I've seen Gonzalo up close and his lines are intelligent, careful and within his (somewhat limited...) abilities.....over-all he's a great player. Joscho has more talent and technique than he knows what to do with---he's still young, relies on some very effective tricks, but is capable of being incredibly soulful---over-all his performance can be uneven. Qualifier: IMHO!
pffff parece que no tienes idea de lo que hablas gonzalo bergara es igual de bueno que josho incluso creo que su improvisación es mas honesta... casi siempre escucho las mismas frases en los solos de josho.....
Kooks will always be impressed by fast and technical playing but only the wisest musicians will recognise the beauty and sensibility in Gonzalo's playing.
Joscho makes you say, wowwwwww. Gonzalo makes you say, yyyeeeessssss
I recently bought Gonzalo's and Joscho's courses. By the end everyone will be saying Yow!
@@JJGarsal 🤣👌

Gonzalo always so cool and natural sounding.

Gonzalo Has a unique sound
The contrast is beautiful between the two players.
Like the two edges of the rainbow of gypsy swing ;)
Merci Django.
Joscho…gets the most out of that guitar…so clear and resonant!!! Beautifully done gentlemen!!!
Gonzalo has got the groove man! Kinda a Wes Montgomery of Gypsy jazz I reckon.
MAN! Gonzalo Bergara, you produce stunning lines!
two opposing styles, both equally astounding, love then both! this version is LIT! I cant stop playing this tune!!!
Phénoménal !
Man Joscho really pulled out all the stops on his solo part! I heard like every Django style in there. Fantastic stuff!
Ich bewundere die kindliche Einfachheit mit der die Musik aus euch raus fließt. Wunderbar, bravo und danke schön.

Bewundernswerter Kunst, ich liebe diese Musik!
I think the music that Joscho Stephan makes with his guitar is the best I've heard in my life..¡¡
Maravilloso!!!!!
Gypsy jazz is Awesome.
The two fingers on the bass player :D
That bass player has massive fingers, WTF. They are like Paul Bunyan fingers.
rare to see Gonzalo miss a note, but obviously they are playing in a very casual manner.
des crampes aux joues ! merci !
Stunning
Top talent here!
What kind of guitar is Gonzalo playing??? I LOVE that tone.
Bravo ! Et merci... ☺
OH HO HO HO HO!!!!!! I'm floored....

Guitar playing and style at its best.....

Agreed. Joscho is a bit of a try hard. Still sounds great.
You think you`ve heard everything until..............
Clearly the guy with the beard is way better on lead guitar
I`m not hating but Joscho is almost to good for his own good... Feels like "traditional" gypsy jazz is kinda boring to play for him nowadays...
My God/ Joscho just WASTED Gonzalo! The guy is seriously brilliant, soulful, technical, whimsical---NO contest. Just sit up and learn what you can......

I like gonzalos playing better. It’s a matter of personal taste.

Joscho is a licks player. Gonzalo feels a bit more natural.
big difference between them! josho is much better than gonzalo

Gonzalo more quit and clean Stephan more technical but no useful phrases
