This tune is made to be played fast and those guys are absolutely terrific in their interpretation;forget the cry babies who do not understand the amount of work and dedication needed in order to play this way;remember it is not classical music where everything is written out and with a lot of practice you memorize it;here it is improvised,extemporaneous and played flawlessly;hats off.This generation of new young gypsy players are pushing the bar higher and higher;before criticizing just try to keep up a few bars and you burn your guitar!.

So some of the arpeggios are the same used by the metal players but. the moving chords every measure is the difference in the styles. Metal players often are playing in one tonal context for minutes in jazz it typically changes more regularly. In modern jazz it's a constant flow under pinning the soloist

Everyone has their niche my friend. It would seem many of these gypsys couldn't play a highly distorted electric guitar. They'd be ringing out all over due to the way they mute.

Prenez la sublime musique de Django Reinhardt, doublez le tempo, enlevez la poésie, rajoutez une flopée de notes inutiles, et vous obtiendrez ... ça.
C'est drôle parce que c'est le genre d'âneries que l'on disait justement de Django dans les années 40' et du Bebop ensuite...

No one can say these are not brilliant players but if you play a million notes a second continuisly it just becomes boring Django's version is a perfect musical statement not 1 note could be added or taken out. its all in the spaces and phrasing he knew how to hold your attention ..this is just a blur
