It's actually dual meaning. MAPA, is for Ma (mom) and Pa (dad), and mapa is also a map in filipino language that's why the lyric video of this song shows map. That's why there's a part there saying "i wont lost anymore as I have the map, wherever I'll go I know where I came from"...something like that. They are really good in terms of lyrics. This song was created while they were doing laundry. 😊

MAPA is my favorite song from SB19 and it is the song that lead me to them when I came across its lyric video in YT last year. It evokes such nostalgic memories of my parents now long gone. I was glad they have several other performances of this song also worth watching , always an immersive listening/viewing experience with their vocal prowess and emotions being conveyed:

This is a great song to listen to when Mother's Day or Father's Day even Grandparents Day or those that guide their children.
