i thought this version is so much indie-electronic & pop than the original dance-pop, this is so different, this is so much better than the original, love the 1975 production edge, the guitar segment is a killer on this, love it, the vocals are raw, stripped, i loved her arrangement and vocals, for me so far one the best of live surprise take on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge not only of the year and but in time. in fact i keep having this on repeat!!!

Yes I can tell it's out of tune - does it bother me? No. Never heard of this band until I saw this on live lounge and I really like it. Her voice has a vulnerability to it and I think it suits this song
Heather's lovely, she has a vulnerability about her - you can see it in her facial expression when she sings. You can really see it during the first minute of the song.

Some people say they took this song and made it their own. I see it as looping and layering a pop chord progression and singing someone else's lyrics over it.
I dunno. A bit uninspired really. Lots of bands cover a song in their own style and I was really excited to hear them do this but it seems like they've just lazily tacked the lyrics onto a cheap rehash of one of their own tunes. Not hating on the band before anyone gets angry though! I rate Pale Waves and that's why i think they could have done way better.
