Just for people who are so confused or baffled. It really isn't that deep or strange, this digital art is art just like physical art being sold . What's new is that you can now own and verify owning digital art thanks to the blockchain which makes it possible for you to collect digital art now. Hope that made it clear

I find it funny that so many people are stunned that “Everydays: The First 5000 Days'' auctioned off for the staggering amount of $69, 000,000 without exploring the mind blowing art it contains. In any event, it will, in the future sell for over a billion. I am also genuinely happy for Mike (Beeple) because he is good guy and not a monster like (for example) a Pablo Picasso.

A ethereum miner will hash with or without your NFTs.

@@jadejoy8030 it does affect on the environment because it needs computers, however it isn't as bad as bitcoin, but still the carbon emissions you will make will be greater than a month of electricity usage for the average person living in the European Union.
