@@Tapot_gooI’m not sure what country you are in but I asked for that once, just leave it wrapped and I will pick it up on a tilt tray and take it to my detailer (where I wanted to do a paint correction, PPF and Ceramic Coating) however the dealer said No, because if they unwrap it and there’s damage or a problem then they won’t cover it. My counter argument to that was is it’s the dealership detailers that do all the damage. They Mar the paintwork they wash and dry them with sponges and poor quality cloths and even Chamois……..who in hell uses chamois these days? Dealerships and by the time the consumer gets the car the work for my detailer has increased 1000% as he tries to remove the mess they made. They even mounted my registration plates crooked - morons. Next time I won’t buy unless they agree to do the handover with the wrap still on and in the contract the salesman can be present at my detailers when they Remove the wrapping so if there’s damage it will be evident it arrived like that.
