Macrofungi of Panora, Iowa

July 4th! Exploring some rough public hunting land surrounding the Middle Raccoon river near the town of Panora, Iowa. Some big oaks and hickories, but dense understory of Lonicera mackii and Juniperus virginiana shading the forest floor, some mossy north facing slopes as well. Prime mushroom territory.
