I'm so glad to be part of a great family! I've wanted to be a firefighter since I was a little girl, (yes I am female, girls can do the job as good as men can, we just have to put more effort into what we do.) I feel like I was born to do this job and apparently I was. I wouldn't trade this job for anything. only reason I will be out of service is if I die, disability, or forced to retire. Thank God for my fellow brothers/sisters out there, stay safe guys!!
my husband is a volunteer firefighter for 10yrs i will stand beside him no matter what and support him all the way to all the firefighters out there may GOD BLESS YOU ALL and keep you safe
I come from a family of Firefighters and am a current Assistant Chief for 5 years now and have gone through the ranks over my 26yrs in the fire service. Met and became close to a firefighter almost 1yr ago now. You are all amazing! Keep up the hard work and know there are some of us out there who care and appreciate you more than you know. Just keep coming home safe please!!
Thank you JasonBrantly for your service! I met & became very close to a firefighter about a year and a a half ago. He worries I'll walk from the friendship due to his work but no way. I'm Damn proud of everyone of u out there running into things we're running out of. Don't know u but huge hugs to you!
I have been a Volunteer firefighter for 1 yer. and 5 mounts. I have loved every minute of it and would never do anything different. I lison to this song every day it gives me hope for my future and what i want to be. Some day i will be a real Firefighter!!!

All of our firefighters please be careful out there even though the world is already going to crap but anyways be safe out there.
Awsome video you have. I also started as an Explorer ond have been a vol. fireman for 30 years now. We need more young men and women like you in the fireservice. God bless you from your fellow brother in New York state.
My grandpa worked in WWII as a firefighter who saved the lives of bomber pilots. I'm training to become an EMT right now and I strive to be able to go out on a call and make difference for a person who probably won't remember my name
I would just like to thank you for making this video. Coming from a long line of firefighters in my family (my sister and I are 3rd generation Firefighters), this means a lot that people even make videos like this for firefighters.
i start my training in august and I'm excited to risk my life each can everyday with my brothers and sisters so a stranger can live fire fighters are a true brother/sister hood be safe yall
Welcome to the Brotherhood, my friend! Stay safe and learn from those who have experience....you never stop learning and relearning the skills to save lives....civilians and emergency responders alike,
thank you so much for all you've done! i was pulled from a fire by someone like you when i was young and i respect all fire fighters for it! thank you for braving hell for people like me who can be so ungrateful for all you have done for us! god bless you and everyone you work with!!
Yes sir its nice to see a fellow South Carolinian fighting fire Im in training at Clarendon County Fire Department as a Volunteer. Good luck hope you like the job.
A realy good video and a one of the best songs ! I am a german Firefighter in duty since last year and i have to say it is now a realy big part of my life ! I wish you and your comrades good luck and a return after any deployment ! Greets from Germany, Baden Württemberg !
to all the people who would give there life to try and help someone they know or dont know are the heros. when we see people running out the fighters are running in now thats bravery not everyone is cut out for the role but some people take pride as a firefighter :-)
I'm a New Orleans EMT and FTO and we see the very best and very worst of people for example today me and my partner responded to a 11 year old boy who had went unconscious in the school nurses office and we had bring him back to life and when he regained consciousness he started to cry and gave me a huge hug and I started to smile at my partner and Resource officer at the school but that's what it's all about
I just joined my local fire department and it's become a part of who I am and to those who trash talk us do us a favor and shut the hell up till you serve your local department
very nice video bud, I started as a junior firefighter when I was 15 years old I'm almost 21 and though my dad is now chief I still love being a paid per call volunteer and I take pride in the younger guys who join as juniors/explorers shows they take pride in it good luck to you brother if you ever need help with something just let me know
Some people say Volunteers do this for free. I don't believe that. Career, Volunteer or anyone does this is paid. Paid off by that feeling of helping others and saving lives even at the risk of their own. I'm a new volunteer and just helped save 4 lives in a bad accident last night after a drunk driver hit 3 cars and drove off. Gotta say. It felt great to help out. To all Firefighters and Junior Firefighters. Thank you.
Cool and here in SC we got a EMS program so I worked there too this summer making $7 an hour. Yeah I'm an explorer at the fire department got promoted to Lieutenant not too long ago
I'm a 17 year old junior firefighter i first joined when I was 16 and also I joined the fire department cause I fail to save my grandmother from dying i have always blamed myself cause of it miss of my firefighter brothers
i'm a volunteer in georgia. you're not stupid. the people that tell you that are scared to do what we do. they wouldn't run in to a burning building to get someone, but we would.
In memoriam for all the brothers and sisters who gave their lives so that many more can live.
