Yea I was always taught to keep the bat on a level plain and keep the hands inside of the baseball and also throw your hands at the ball. But also staying balanced while keeping weight on the back leg to generate bat speed

If you had a front view & had a line drawn on the knob, the arc would approximate the Brachistochrome Curve, which is the quickest path between two points under gravity.

Remember when he stole 32 bases in a season? Quietly one of the best athletes in the game.
STL/LA is going to be fun. St Louis is ready to slay the Giant.
Meanwhike, My Jays are gonna hobble as far as they can lol

Quietly is the key word. He's very unassuming and humble. There's no ego in his game. Gets continual praise as an amazing teammate. Sometimes guys say he's the best complete baseball player they've played with. Arenado said he's the best player he's seen. Miss Goldy in AZ but glad he's with a quality organization that has post season potential

@@LukenUSee championship potential. And I agree with all of what you said about him. Like John Olerud.

You can see how critical the fan netting is....Goldy is taking a huge cut, and at least half of the idiot fans aren't even watching lol.

When i hit i like to really think about keeping my hands inside the ball, working it from the inside out down an imaginary line.
When i combine that with think about transferring my front shoulder a few inches forward while turning i get a really good weight shift, and stay inside the ball.
And i make sure i dont do it to an extreme where i move forward 10 inches and leak over my front foot. I have a 33 inch wide base though, measure it with my bat, so it would be hard for me to leak. Im 5'9 137 pounds so i wouldnt be able to get away with a weak weight shift.
Do you think that's a good thing to work on hitting, or do you think it could create flaws? Based on what i described if i do it as i described.

This analysis reminds me of a combination between Silence of the Lambs and JFK. "It puts the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again." Also... "Back and to the left. Back and to the left." Compared to... As the knob goes down, the barrel goes down. The knob is continuing to turn. The knob is continuing to turn. The knob is continuing to turn.
