Same 😞 I truly miss the classic Disney movies. So many great memories of growing up watching movies with my family that they'd watched as kids like That Darn Cat, Old Yeller, Bambi. Most all of their new stuff is just not good even if it didn't have such an agenda.
I too started to cry when I heard When You Wish Upon a Star. Such great memories.

I will never forget running inside when my mom told my brothers and I that the Magical World of Disney was on Sat night. That commercial gave me chills as they played so many memories from my childhood. It's truly tragic what has happened to Disney all in the name of being progressive. Walt Disney would be turning in his grave if he knew.
That Disney commercial was actually really good, because it looked like a commercial they would've made in 2005 before they went completely to shit.
I concur. All the stuff before it turned to crap. If you're so happy about the crap youre producing, then promote it.

I love Walt Disney’s early cartoons, that’s the magical Disney I miss. They continue to profit off of legacy content while going completely political & woke and it makes me sad, mad and frustrated at what’s going on in this world.
Yea they wanna show us what we love in the hopes that we ignore the garbage they’re pushing now. Besides the political agenda their movies are simply bad now. Im hosting a wake for star wars this weekend if anyone cares to join.
That Tubi one should be remembered as the most divisive commercial in history. Literally every family was shouting at the one who had the remote.
I stopped suspecting my wife when it took mere seconds to select something to watch. No way that would ever be her.
One time it happened to me it was so trippy
I honest to God had the remote in my hand resting on my face, and saw it and was like oops and pressed the backwards button, and accidentally clicked off the video XD

I had this idea for a commercial a few years ago, but then thought "that would be bad, because people might just hit a button to get "back" and miss the commercial"... Then this happened...
The Disney ad brought tears to my eyes, then Ben says, "That makes me so sad." Right on, man.

The Breaking Bad PopCorners was definitely my favorite! That Tubi ad totally got me too. We were all yelling at the host of the party, and he was like "I didn't touch the remote!"
The Tubi commercial was probably the most creative and it's pretty hilarious how it pissed off so many people in the same way.

Except that Superbowl Sunday is already well-known as one of the dates of the year with the highest incidences of domestic violence, and that could easily have put the match to the gasoline. On the other hand, somebody that's going to go off about that, was probably going off anyway, so it's just fine right? It saddens me no end how much leftist woke garbage has erased and deflated the actual progress we'd made culturally and as a nation and made it so that reasonable speaking out against potentially harmful things makes it sound like you're a lefty loonie, even when you're not. The Disney one made me super sad too. All the things I’ve lived about Disney are gone. We don’t allow it in our house because it’s gone way too far, and our kids souls are more important than reminiscing on our own childhoods. Very sad, indeed.

That they're "magical" as always, when they're not. And they used a majority of scenes from the renaissance era (my childhood). Even got me feeling nostalgic... We have to keep in mind that the things that were interesting and exciting to us do not have the same effect on our kids. Sometimes, we can't understand it, but their environment is completely different from the one we grew up in. If we were kids now, we would be the same.

The Tubi ad made me look at my wife glaring while she had a drink in one hand a handful of popcorn in the other. She looked at me like Shaggy mumbling it wasn’t me through a mouthful of popcorn. I felt bad and had to apologize

I was saddened by the Disney commercial as well. It was a good commercial, but the thing that makes it have a sour taste is that Disney doesn't practice what they used to preach. The commercial had the essence of old Disney, but it was ruined by what Disney decided to become.

That tubi commercial was great. I was at the local bar with a buddy and every TV did it simultaneously and everyone thought that someone had gone to like the master controls in the bar and changed every TV at the same time to tubi, I was laughing so hard
The Tubi one didn't fool me but it sure got my wife and son to give me some serious side eye because I did have the remote near me but out of sight. So I pretended like I did it on purpose and started fiddling with the remote with a rather sour look on my face as long as I could manage. They didn't find it funny. 😆
Honestly, the ones that stuck out to me the most were the Jesus ones. At 7million a pop, it was a nice reminder that some people really try and put God first. And I’m an atheist!

The premature electrification one was actually pretty funny to me, because no one in the room was paying attention to the first part where they mentioned EVs, but we all started paying attention in the middle of the ad and were caught by surprise to see it wasn’t like viagra or something lol
That Tubi ad got me too! It was irritating but it was supposed to be so I kinda have to give them props. Good commercial too because you won’t forget about it for a while

I expect MUCH more than that at an event seen be literally a third of the country. No band, no guests, no surprises, not even a costume change. She didn't even sing for big chunks of it. Anyone notice commercials are showing dozens of different people and couples so they don't miss any of intersectionality. Unless it has a movie or TV star, we have to check all the boxes; as we continue to creates more victims, commercials will just be hundreds of people reading a script so as to not offend anyone.
Honestly I’ve grown to just accept that things like lgbtq and other mainly left wing things will be in commercials and movies. If it’s not rubbed in my face I couldn’t care less
11:35 at my grandmas bar we were watching the game and we all knew that the tv wasn’t a smart tv, but we still looked at the guy behind the bar and yelled at him. It was embarrassing.

The Amazon one where the dog was depressed and destructive when the family wasn't home. Then you see the family looking for a carrier crate on Amazon and you think it's to crate their dog but when it arrives you see a new puppy walk out. Then the original dog is calm and happy because it has a friend now and you see the two of them cuddling together. TOO CUTE!

The workday HR ad with rockstars getting upset about the overuse of the title “ rockstar “ was the best one in my opinion.

We were watching the super bowl with our high school sunday school group and it was the most akward thing when the ram ev sex joke ad came on. It made me hate life for all 30 seconds of it

I was waiting for it to say “Church of the Latter Day Saints”at the end. I was so surprised when it didn’t and grateful. I hear Hobby Lobby put money into these commercials. Sooo grateful Christians are standing up.

My wife and I did watch TV while the Superbowl was on, but neither the game or the commercials or the pre/half/post game festivities.
We ended up binge watching Cobra Kai. We didn't have to worry about Black Nat'l anthems or bad/ woke marketing. It was a very good use of a Sunday afternoon and early evening.
That Disney Ad hit me right in the feels it brought all my childhood memories.

It was easy to miss because it was after the game was over, but there was a follow up to the m&m ad where they apologized for removing the mascots and reinstated them. In the in end, it was a month long joke about the foolishness of cancel culture. The problem was, most people didn't see the final commercial because of when it aired, and the "maya" ad was so strange and confusing that the joke got lost. The good news is that this was just a bad joke and the m&m mascots are still here.
These edits are so much better than 90% of the commercials this year.

It used to be fun watching the pre-game, half-time and all the commercials but the last few years it's been increasingly more painful and upsetting to say the least. I didn't watch anything except the game this year and felt as if I didn't miss a thing.

I used to watch the Superbowl for the commercials. Then I just started watching them online and skipping the game. Now I’m just going to watch Ben react to them. Much more entertaining.

The best commercial from this year's big game was the Workday commercial, about rock stars.

I love Superbowl ads! They're usually pretty amazing. This year, it seems that I really only liked 3 of them. 1) The Busch Beer ad. I hate the beer, but that was pretty funny. 2) Pop Corners. That may have been the best one! 3) Disney 100. I grew up a huge Disney fan. At 42, I still watch quite a few Disney films. Not many of the new ones though. This commercial reminded me of a time when Disney was more concerned about entertainment rather than how to out-woke everyone else.

I was on the plane when that Tubi add started. The pilot said something about us landing or whatever. And then the add started and I was like damn American Airlines just turned off the football game while looking around in the plane haha 😂😂
